Hi Michelle, sorry to hear that you're having issues getting the Snap Shades to stay on your Golf. This model does require contouring to match the curved door, so that the magnets can attach. The shades were not a perfect fit, but they are easy enough to bend to mostly be flush with the window. I bought these for my mom's car which is a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. The ones I bought for my car fit perfectly so I was a little surprised they weren't quite right, but again, they fit close enough to work.

Amazing, thank you Kaitlin, I'm glad they worked for your car perfectly. Some cars do require bending because the door frames can be curved while our Snap Shades come straight. Hope that clarifies things!
