Bad business, dishonest, and not customer friendly. Borderline scammy. They do not properly inform or notify customers of shipments and anticipated charges, then make it extremely difficult to cancel and return. Extremely unhelpful c/s reps via "chat" feature on website.
I do not write reviews often, but hope mine and all the other one-star reviews on this platform sharing very similar experiences are shared somewhere that can deter other honest citizens from being taken advantage of.

*SCAM COMPANY*** Do not buy from these…
*SCAM COMPANY*** Do not buy from these or any other products advertised on FB or TikTok! I have had to cancel payments through Paypal on five products "subscription" which I did not check at time of check-out. They're all doing it... you don't check subscribe and they subscribe for you... SHADY!!! When you call this company it's a one hour wait time.. hah! and when you try to register on website - it will not let you; so, you're left high and dry.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY! The product doesn't work. Also, unbeknownst to you, when you order you automatically sign up for a subscription service that costs $46.62 per month in addition to the initial cost of $31.78. That's usury!

DECEPTIVE practices
SmileActives is not an outright scam in that it provides a product, but numerous customer reviews and complaints on platforms like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Trustpilot allege deceptive business practices related to hidden subscriptions, unauthorized recurring charges, and difficult cancellation processes.
Common Customer Complaints
Hidden Subscriptions: Many customers report believing they made a one-time "trial" or "buy one get one free" purchase, only to discover later they were automatically enrolled in an expensive, recurring shipment plan. This practice of enrolling customers in recurring billing without explicit consent is considered a deceptive business practice under U.S. law.
Difficulty Canceling: Users frequently complain about a frustrating and time-consuming cancellation process, involving long phone waits, non-responsive chat support, and website functions that don't work correctly.
Continued Billing After Cancellation: Despite receiving confirmation that their subscription was canceled, some customers report being billed for additional shipments they neither wanted nor, in some cases, received.
Product Efficacy and Sensitivity: Some reviewers state the product did not work for them or caused tooth/gum sensitivity, and they had trouble getting a refund even within the 60-day money-back guarantee period.
Collections Notices: Customers who disputed charges or stopped credit card payments have reported receiving threatening emails or being sent to collections agencies for outstanding balances on unwanted products.
Company Response
In response to these complaints, a representative from SmileActives often states that the subscription terms are clearly disclosed in multiple places on their website, including in bold print and via a required checkbox affirmation before purchase. They also point out that products are available for one-time purchase at retail prices, and that the auto-replenishment program offers a discounted rate.
The company typically clarifies that canceling a subscription stops future shipments but does not negate the balance due for orders already shipped, which must be paid or returned within the 60-day money-back guarantee period for a refund (minus shipping and handling).

Deceitful and Terrible Product
I ordered the product, used it and it caused white blisters on my gums. Returned it, at my expense under the "we will refund your money" and nothing.... It's been 2 months since I returned it. They don't have any plans on refunding me despite their advertisement. Customer service is a joke, literally. Tried to talk to someone on chat and they wanted to discuss my "teeth brushing" routine.

The product doesn’t work as advertised
The product doesn’t work as advertised, I tried to cancel my subscription because I was unaware that I had signed up for
three payments of $30. dollars is more than the product sells for. It was a very difficult to stop the subscription. Finally i sent the unused tube back, still waiting for a refund.

Scam Artists
The product does not work. It's horrible. When you call to cancel your account you speak to a person who is trained not to cancel it. She acts stupid but it is only an act. They keep on charging you until you notify your credit card company that it is a bogus charge. Don't be sucked in by this these scam artists.
