I hesitate recommending this company . I ordered a v-tech phone and paid over 60.00 including shipping .The phone arrived in an Amazon prime envelope . I needed to return the phone and Amazon stated they would reimburse me 17.87 . What a huge markup ! I did contact American Express as well as the company . American Express confirmed this company charged my card over 60.00! The company did respond back and offered to honor the 17.87 price ! I am taken back at the huge mark up and will Not plan to do business with this company ever again ! Buyer beware ! I sent this item back to Amazon and then received an email requesting that I get the companies return label in 48 hours and send the item to them ! This is my one day off as a nurse and I have been dealing with this V-tech phone all day ! What a nightmare and a huge waste of time and money ! I am Beyond pissed ! Janet in North Carolina ! An update on Oct 1st 2026:I received an email from The company today offering to give me a full refund for the V-tech phone ! I have accepted the offer and do appreciate them reaching back out to me with their very good customer service ! I would recommend price shopping before purchasing on line . I am Satisfied with the responses I have received from this company . I look forward to seeing a full credit on my American Express card for 60.00 and change .

I was surprised to find this company is not an authorized dealer for LeapFrog. We had a problem with one of LeapFrog’s globes and had to call LeapFrog only to learn they are under no obligation to help us trouble shoot as we didn’t purchase the globe from an authorized source. When we contacted Smart Kids Planet they apologized, indicated they have no control over the manufacturers policies but eventually agreed to partially reimburse us for the cost of the item.

Honestly, I wasn't aware that you ship your merchandise through Amazon. I have not purchased anything from Amazon in many years and have no intention of doing so in the future. That being said I will not be purchasing from smartkidsplanet in the future. I would rather spend more money on shipping from another company than line the pockets of Jeff Bezos.

Updated 7/11/2025. When I contacted the company asking to return the item received for a full refund, they supplied the return label right away and have now provided the full refund. The company is adamant that they use Amazon only as their fulfillment service, and have never sold their items on Amazon. Original I ordered an item that I also saw on Amazon, but assumed this what much higher quality as it was three times the price. As it was a gift, I placed the order with Smart Kids Planet. The order came today from Amazon!

After a previous 1 star review, Smart Kids Planet reached out to me and made good on my issue with them. They agreed to refund me the full cost of my problem and permitted me to keep the item free. They were stand up with regard to remedy the customer service aspect, which I do appreciate. However the item I did receive initially was sub-standard in value. Hopefully, this was an anomaly and that their other products are indeed quality.
