I made a reservation and wasn't able to…
I made a reservation and wasn't able to change or can without the company keeping all my money. The venue changed dates, not my fault. Company would not change or modify reservation. I don't recommend this company at all. I don't even want to give them a 1 star. I also tried to call the company but all I got was an automated response can't get a hold of a human being.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. When you book a non-refundable room and need to change your dates, we do our best to work with the hotel to advocate on your behalf for the change. Unfortunately, we were unable to get get the hotel to agree to change the dates of your stay We know that this can be frustrating and we do our best to explain what it means to purchase a non-refundable room up front. I'm sorry for your experience.

NOT Smarter Travel!
I booked a hotel through SmarterTravel thinking it would be "smarter", NOT! I had a reservation for Los Angeles, Comfort Inn for after Christmas. I was going to visit my son, daughter-in-law and new grandbaby. I got sick the night before I was scheduled to fly there - the flu. Fever, aches, pains, headache, nausea. In fact, I am still sick (5 days later). Anyway, they would not give me a refund or a credit for my stay. $822. Then when I cancelled it, there was an additional 20 fee! The airline made an exception for me and gave me a credit. Said they were glad I was not travelling sick. But since I booked hotel through Smarter Travel and not the hotel itself, I could not get a refund or credit. Things happen, circumstances can change easily, unexpected things come up. Lesson learned - don't book through SmarterTravel!

I was overcharged for my room. The hotel wasn’t paid their full amount. I had to pay more money once I arrived at the hotel. There is no ability to communicate with this company.

My review for this site is 1 star because when we arrived at the hard rock hotel and cassino they told me that my reservation didn’t existed, we had to wait for 2 hours and 50 minutes until they run out to find a room for us,the worse experience ever.

Cancelled reservation without telling me??
I made a hotel reservation for May 10th using this website. Yesterday I tried to check in and they said my reservation had been cancelled. However, I did not cancel the reservation. The hotel said they did have a reservation for May 11 (the wrong date).
