3+hrs wasted on a family tree that wouldn't load the next day. So annoyed. Beware. Glad I didn't purchase the software before testing it out.

2013 Smartdraw version. Of all the software packages I've used over the decades, this is the worst. Many bugs and deficiencies. I greatly regret having chosen this for software documenation as I now have to convert all my drawings to another drawing package. As for technical support....forget it.

Full of bugs where symbols change shape by themselves. Auto aumatically saves the page without asking so you can't go back to where you were before the bug changed the page. Absolute waste of time. Amazing for a product that cost $295.

Poor choice of scales available. Lacking in features and poor user friendliness. Inordinately complicated making simples drawings and tasks extremely time consuming.

As echoed below, the trail is a complete waste of time. Can only export drawings with intrusive watermarks on them which block any content from being read. I will not be purchasing as I have no idea what the finished drawings will look like in a report.

SmartDraw is not compatible with Mojave and Safari versions and they won't definitively tell you that but their rep makes you feel like it's just you and your Mac.

Started out as a great program in the trial phase. So I bought the stand alone version. Nearly $300. All of a sudden, drawings would close as if they had a mind of their own. The program would save some changes, but not the most recent. Then yesterday, it crashed again, for the "umpteenth" time, but this time the last 2-3 hours of critical work on a house design...GONE! Even knowing this program crashes more often than old Microsoft, I would hit the "Save" button. But instead of saving, it would ask you to "Save As" and give the file a new name. Even the libraries got themselves all jumbled. I'd open up the "Living Room" library and get "Entertainment". Open another library and get images from an unrelated library. So today SmartDraw disabled my program key without warning, said they're going to refund the purchase amount to my credit card, and all the work I've created so far is LOST. So be careful if you purchase the program. It crashes a lot. Your drawings may or may not be saved. The libraries of images are quirky at best. And if you plan on receiving any kind of explanation, don't. Good luck.
