The leads I receive are often generate authentic natural conversations around financial planning. The one ask I would make is a bit more effort on the front end to verify the authenticity of leads prior to forwarding them on.

I specifically responded to an ad to be matched to cross border fee only brokerage firm. None of the recommended businesses were licensed for USA & EU.

SmartAsset has been a big part of our new client acquisitions. We have been using them for roughly 3 years and have closed over 11 million in new AUM. There will be highs and lows and you have to put in the work to get connected with the leads. Over all it has definitely been a positive experience!

I signed up to receive more information and expressly instructed SmartAsset to only contact me by writing because I didn’t want to be interrupted by unscheduled phone calls. They spammed my contact info across countless asset managers, and I’ve been getting unwanted phone calls all day. Gross business model and false advertising.

Our firm came to SA a little hesitant on what we'd get partnering with them. So far I've been impressed by the ongoing coaching and support from Mitch and our team. As our needs and situation has evolved they've helped us not only to ensure we are getting quality lead flow but also helping us understand our sales process for these types of leads (similar to leads we are getting from other non-digital sources but requiring a slightly different approach) and making sure we are closing business. A lot of digital lead companies lack the professionalism and personal service SA offers and we've used 3-4 others (one literally went bankrupt on us). Very happy so far.
