The product arrived just as expected, still waiting on one other order. My chickens don’t like the pea flakes. I sure thought they would because they like frozen peas (thawed of course). I put the flakes in their bowl with some other snacks and the only thing left is the pea flakes. I don’t know. They just don’t like them🤷🏼♀️

Quality of hay changes dramatically, sometimes it's 5 and sometimes, it's 1.....consistency would be appreciated

The ochrard grass hay seems a little less fresh and more brown than previous batches

I’ve ordered your Timothy hay several times now, but I’m concerned about the lack of consistent quality. While the top layer is usually fresh and green, the quality drops significantly as I work through the bag. The middle layer is often burnt/brown, and the bottom layer is consistently dusty and brittle. Since hay is a staple for my rabbit’s health, I was hoping for more uniform quality throughout the entire package.

The hay was good, though I’m sometimes nervous I’m not getting 5 lbs. However, the hay arrived several days later than expected and ended up coming on a day I was out all day.

I used to love their products but quality control is severely lacking now that they've gotten bigger

UPDATE: First, let me say I love Small Pet Select. Their products are really great, and they have been instrumental in my buns' happiness and health. I do get a little frustrated with the autoship because it's hard to avoid shipping charges, but customer service is always helpful... once you get past the AI. The hay issue took me by surprise, so my review reflected my upset. Seeing my poor Lexa have violent sneezing fits was so upsetting. __________ I have been getting products from SPS for many years. My older bun started having sneezing fits. I took her to the vet, and she couldn't find anything wrong. She stopped sneezing. I had a large box of sampler hay that I gave my buns for variety. Shortly after giving her the hay, she started sneezing again. I thought it was a coincidence because of my history with SPS. However, after testing it one more time and watching my poor bunny violently sneezing, I determined that it was the hay. When I called customer service to talk about it, they told me they had a dusty batch of Timothy hay. I thought perhaps a refund was in order, but instead I just canceled the subscription.

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for being part of our family for over five years! We truly value your long-standing support and the care you provide for Lexa. We’re glad we had the chance to connect with you via chat on March 31st. We know that was an extensive conversation where Becky worked to handle several requests at once—from troubleshooting the app login and bundling your subscriptions for free shipping to managing your various hay needs, specifically your Gourmet Hay and Oat Hay. Regarding the Sampler, Becky’s primary goal was ensuring Lexa’s safety. She proactively offered a replacement from a fresh bale, but we completely respected your preference to skip any further testing and cancel that specific subscription instead. Since a store credit or replacement wasn't requested during that deep dive into your account, our focus remained on getting your April 13th shipment exactly as you envisioned, including adding the Herbal Sampler and applying your Loyalty Points as discussed. We never want you to feel unheard. If you would like to discuss a store credit for that specific sampler box now, please reach out to us directly so we can ensure everything is settled to your satisfaction. Hoppy Trails, The Small Pet Select Team

I have noticed a rapid decline in the quality of hamster bedding lately.
