The Slidebean team took my basic deck and really cleaned it up and made the graphics pop. I would recommend them to anyone.

You used all my words with little creativity of your own. I should have done it myself and saved money and time. Huge disappointment.

The team really understands how to make a good pitch deck and have the experience to guide you through the important decisions and content creation steps.

Low quality designs

I was very impressed with the level and quality of service provided by Slidebean and would highly recommend them in the future. Our company's priorities shifted and the direction we were pursuing had pivoted and changed, and Slidebean were very flexible and helpful in designing a deck for us based on this pivot. The discovery phase was seamless, the deck looked fantastic in the end, and an extra shoutout to the project manager handing my project Katherine Chavarria who was very helpful and enthusiastic along the way. The only improvement that I would highlight is the software system that Slidebean asks its users to make edits. At times it seemed confusing and a little clunky but we got there in the end. Other than that, everything else was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We needed 3 revision of comments we had already provided in regards to formatting and design of the first version. I would not recommend this agency as the project manager did not have an eye for checking people's work and making sure the presentation was uniform throughout. The same template of a slide was used 3x in our deck in a different way with different spacing etc. As a former banker it was a terrible experience as there was no attention to detail throughout our engagement. We would expect simple formatting to be uniform across the deck, especially since we are paying a design agency for it. We spent a lot of time adding 30+ comments in V1 on formatting instead of the actual design and then had to do it again in V2 and V3. Simple things like text boxes in different size or not lined up horizontally, or icons not being aligned. All of this should be 101 stuff for a deck design agency. It's why we paid money to outsource the design. But we had to rework everything again.

Liked - Copywriting and design skills - The project Manager is there is support the project - Ziflow is an excellent tool for sharing feedback - PM was helpful to some extent Disliked - - Some businesses are more complex than others. It would have been great if the Business Analyst had held more discussions and brainstorming meetings with my Team. There were still many gaps in the understanding, which could have been resolved with a couple more sessions. - Feedback over text is not the best way to deliver feedback. After sharing the feedback, there should have been a session where we would have discussed the feedback with the BA or the PM. - A pitch is a very crucial piece of content for a startup; rolling it out without meetings and discussion sessions with the designer is like sending out half-baked cakes. Overall I believe, Slidebean needs a more immersive and in-depth process to deliver a pitch.
