Dear Ashley, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! We would like to try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the speakers to work for you. First, when you tried the product were the speakers placed directly over your ears? All of our products come with speakers that are removable, so they can easily be positioned within the headband to line up over your ears. While wearing the SleepPhones® headband, please gently push the speakers around until they are situated on your ears. Please make sure that you are lining up the speakers and not the felt connector that keeps the wires together. Second, if you are using a wired version, is there a case on the device that you are using with the SleepPhones®? We have found that some cases do not allow the audio jack to be inserted all the way, which can cause one of the speakers not to function properly. We hope the troubleshooting tips alleviate the issue! Dear Jennifer, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you have experienced! Our app contains binaural beats, which might have been some of the humming you heard. Binaural beats technology has been proven to gently sooth your brainwaves and allow you to enter a deeper state of sleep faster. However if that sound were to happen with other apps which do not contain binaural beats, we certainly would be more than happy to take a look at your SleepPhones® via our warranty process. Regarding the headband, having the proper size headband (with a snug fit) is crucial not only for comfort but for sound purposes too. A proper fitting headband will prevent the speakers from sliding around while in use as well as the headband slipping. Having too snug of a headband, however, might cause discomfort as the speakers would be pressing into your ears. We would be happy to exchange your headband for a different size / fabric! If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into! Dear Jerry, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you encountered with the SleepPhones® Wireless product! We are more than happy to provide you with troubleshooting tips to perform. First, please "forget the device" and remove all AcousticSheep® listings on your device and turn off the Bluetooth® setting. Next, power on the Bluetooth® module by holding the middle square button down for 5 seconds. Once the module is on then hold the top and bottom arrow buttons in at the same time for 10 seconds or until you hear two long beeps (this will reset the module). Next, power off the module by holding the middle square button down for 5 seconds. Now you are ready to restart the paring process! Power on the Bluetooth® module by holding down the middle square button until you hear an ascending 3 ring tone followed by a series of double beeps (the beeps are an indication that the module is in pairing mode). The beeps will last for only 10 seconds, but the device will remain in pairing mode until it is paired. When the module is in pairing mode, you will notice a fast blinking red light. Next, go into the Bluetooth® settings on your device and turn on Bluetooth®. If you are pairing the product to an Android® device, please be sure to check the box to search for nearby devices and then press scan. You will then see AcousticSheep® appear, simply click on it to establish the connection. When the SleepPhones® Wireless is paired with the device of your choice, you will notice that the fast blinking red light then changes to a much slower blink (to indicate that it's paired or connected). When pairing to additional devices or a second device it's crucial to hold the middle, square power button down until you hear the ascending 3 ring tone followed by the continuous beeping. You may need to temporarily disable Bluetooth® on first device you paired to, since the SleepPhones® or RunPhones® Wireless is designed to pair with the last device it was paired to. Hello, We are sorry the band you ordered does not fit you well!
