Having a snug fit headband will eliminate the headband from slipping and the speakers from moving around within the band after you position them. All of our products come in the following three sizes: Extra Small, One Size Fits Most and Extra Large. If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into! Dear Jessie, Thank you for your input! Many different variables can alter exactly how long the battery life will last. For example if you are listening to the product on the highest volume, you will only receive closer to 7-8 hours of playback. We highly suggest listening to the product at a medium volume level as a high level could cause hearing damage if used for several hours. We have also found that certain apps cause the Bluetooth® module to have a shorter battery life. Through our testing we have found the White Noise app (http://www.tmsoft.com/white-noise) does not cause a shorter battery life. We have also found listening to music preloaded on your device will give you the 10-13 hour battery life. In regards to the sizing, having the correct size headband will alleviate the soreness you are experiencing. The lighter Breeze material can be a little slippery for some skin tones and hair types. If you are unsure how to remove and reinsert the speakers you can find a demonstration video on our site at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqTVbLvjDNk The SleepPhones® products were constructed to minimize ambient noises. If you listen to music, you can camouflage outside sounds such as snoring. However, the product does not have any external equipment to eliminate noise. We market the product as noise blocking rather than noise canceling. Some of our customers listen to music to calm them which enables them to fall asleep faster, while reducing background noise. Many customers also listen to music all throughout the night and do find that it does help to block out their partner's snoring.
