Dear Shelly, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! Regarding the headband, having a snug fitting headband will eliminate the headband from slipping and the speakers and module from moving around within the band after you position them. We would be happy to exchange it for a different size / type of material! Dear Tom, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! When placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base. We also suggest moving the module to the right or left of the Velcro® opening as that will allow for easier charging as well as easier access to the buttons.
