I had a difficult time learning how to set these up and to charge these. This company was quite responsive with email and phone. They sent me a new charger immediately. After using these super comfortable earphones, it's hard to go back to those earphones that are actually stuck in your ears. Sleepphones are essential if you need to listen to music, audible books, or podcasts in bed, such as the sleepwithme podcasts. They are so comfy that I would like to use them all the time but they mess my hair up! So nighttime only!

I discovered SleepPhones in 2004. I was a terrible sleeper, I had a very hard time falling asleep. I would have a hard time closing my eyes, quieting my brain. I'm one of those that if I try to calm my brain I think more specifically and wake myself up more! The more my eyes looked around, the more I evaded sleep. I found these and went from taking about 2 hours to fall asleep... to 20 minutes or less. I have a playlist of the same MP3 about 4 times, just in case, but in general I'm sure I wouldn't need it. Sleepphones offers free MP3s, I **LOVE** Newport Waves. (I have that MP3 on all my devices, just in case!). It's 30 minutes of gentle ocean waves. I like the idea of the 'bi-aural' tones, tones played under the white noise that are slightly different in each ear so as your subconscious brain tries to reconcile them, and the tones slowly drop in pitch, you drop quickly and comfortably into sleep. Honestly, sometimes the only reason I have trouble sleeping is I don't put them on, because childishly I know once I do I will likely fall right asleep, if that makes any sense. I wear them over my eyes, and it shuts out excess light, and is a warm, comfortable feeling over my eyes. I keep an old ipod plugged in under my pillow that I use for this purpose. I bring them on planes if I think I will try to sleep, and ALWAYS take them with me when I travel. I've tried some of the other sounds, the birds don't work because I can actually start to recognize the individual distinct bird calls. The rain or brooks, well, those may make you have to get up and use the bathroom :) The ocean waves is relaxing, dreamy, and perfect. There are wake up tracks, too - frying bacon, morning birds, sounds that start to wake your mind up. I have actually just put together a playlist of upbeat happy music and used to set it to go off about 20 minutes before my alarm. I found I gently rose up out of sleep for my alarm and was ready to go, instead of jarred by the alarm and in need of the snooze button. These make it just as easy to wake up as go to sleep. Over the years I have purchased one of these for several different friends and family members who claim to have trouble sleeping. My sister became an immediate convert, intending to wear them for a short nap and waking up well rested 3 hours later after a MUCH needed rest! I have found that the cord can sometimes be the weakest link - over time it tends to fray or bend, but considering I have used these 365/year and take them with me to travel... I remember back when you couldn't wash the headband! The removable ones are a treat! One last mention, a friend of mine was skeptical because she worried she wouldn't be able to hear if someone was in distress - they are not noise cancelling. These will not completely cover up a spouse's snoring or construction noise, though they may help dampen that... you control the volume, so you can set them just loud enough to hear the white noise, but not so loud that you can't hear a child calling for you! (I wish they blocked out snoring... instead I still have to ask him to roll over, but these at least help me fall right back asleep!)

These are extremely comfortable headphones. I have not actually used them to sleep with but I have extremely sensitive ears and find other headphones irritate my ears but I have had no issue with these other than I might have ordered a size too big for my head

I wear my sleepphones nearly every night, and have done so for over a year. They are remarkably comfortable in any sleeping position, with nothing to dig into the ear. I've given them as gifts and recommend them heartily. The bluetooth version seemed oddly expensive, but I use them frequently enough that it's well worth being able to go completely wire-free.

I love my sleepphones! They work great!

The best thing invented since apple pie are use these every night and take them wherever I go on vacation I now do the Bluetooth but keep the other ones on hand just in case Bluetooth isn't working love love this product

Originally purchased for myself, to help when I had a less than quiet hotel rooms when I traveled for work. I no longer travel for work, yeah ! My wife likes to watch TV at night in bed. I prefer to go to sleep early. She "borrowed" my Sleep Phones so she can listen quietly. And I can get to sleep, it's a win win I think. She really likes them. The only challenge has been sizing. The Medium, is too big. And the extra small is too small. She kind of needs a real Small, but we haven't see that band size. Overall very happy with the product.

I bought sleepphones for my wife so she can sleep with me since I snore. She loves them! Also, I found that they were on sale soon after I made my purchase. Customer service gave me the discount without question and was great to work with.
