Just tried to find information on line about the topical med for my precancerous skin on my arms--- No place to simply find drug information. They do not have a simple search line on their site. As a cancer nurse I find this appalling and totally unprofessional. I will be sure to let my prescribing physician know about this so called pharmacy that seems to be unwilling to tell people about their concoctions they sell.

Quality control and customer service issues
The second bottle of rosacea cream is gritty and abrasive — this is not at all how my first bottle was. I called customer service, and they sent me on a loop back and forth between the CS rep and the pharmacist. Everyone agrees that I should get a replacement, but no one has issued or shipped it. I’ve now called twice and left messages to follow up, and no one has returned my call.

Vaniqa compound BUD
Ordered Vaniqa compound. It arrived on 08 September 26 and its use by date? 02 October 26. There is no way this will be used by that date. With shipping the cost was $101. Regret not checking reviews before purchasing from this pharmacy.

No longer a good company
I used a compound from skin medicinals for years for my extreme rosacea. It cleared it up beautifully, and once clear, a $50 bottle would last 3 months. In April 2026 the bottle and base changed. The pump isn’t great, it’s not shipped with a coolant anymore. The creme base smells weird and the medicine expires in less than a month. My rosacea is creeping back despite use of the creme daily. They swapped pharmacies from foothills. I do not reccomend this product. Now they just keep trying to push expensive boutique skin care instead of actual prescription medicine.

My Experience With Skin Medicinals vs platinum skin
My Experience With Skin Medicinals vs. Platinum Skin
I wanted to share my honest experience because I really wish someone had told me this before I spent my money.
I was prescribed Skin Medicinals for my melasma and tried using the products twice. Both times, the pump on the bottle stopped working properly, so I had to open the bottle and scoop the product out every night. While doing that, I noticed the product was getting darker and darker, and within about a week it appeared to have gone bad.
Because I have melasma, I was NOT comfortable putting a product on my face after it had changed color. My dermatologist had already warned me that using certain pigmentation products for too long could actually cause pigmentation to become darker, so I wasn't willing to take that chance.
I ended up purchasing another bottle and, thinking maybe I just had a bad bottle the first time, I also purchased the other products they recommended. Once again, the pump didn't work correctly and I ended up with another bottle that changed color and appeared to go bad within about a week.
I contacted Skin Medicinals, and I was told that because it was past their timeframe, I should have contacted them within 30 days of receiving the bottles. The problem is, I didn't realize there was an issue I needed to report until after I spoke with my dermatologist and became concerned about the product changing color. At that point, I had already gone through the same problem twice.
What also frustrated me was finding out that the additional products I purchased totaled over $200 and were basically over-the-counter-type products. Had I known that beforehand, I probably wouldn't have purchased them because I already had similar products at home.
After all of that, I decided I wasn't interested in ordering another bottle and going through the same thing a third time.
I started looking into other options and found Platinum Skin. I purchased their Jessner peel and the Fade Bright product to use beforehand. I also found their videos and Facebook community extremely helpful because there are people sharing their experiences and answering questions.
I'm still early in my experience with it, but after my first use, I could already see a difference in my skin and pigmentation. I'm going to take my time and follow the directions carefully rather than rushing the process.
For me, the biggest difference has been feeling like I have access to information, education, and a community where I can actually ask questions and learn from other people's experiences.
So if you're dealing with melasma and considering Skin Medicinals, I would definitely do your research and look at all of your options before spending hundreds of dollars.
My experience with Skin Medicinals was extremely disappointing, while my experience researching Platinum Skin has been much more positive so far.

I was told to order a medicine for my Rosacea
I was told to order a medicine for my Rosacea and the bottles say they were made on 8/07/2026, they were shipped on 8/12/2026 and arrived on 8/18/2026. The BUD is 9/11/2026, I paid about 100 dollars for a cream that does not even last a month. Terrible service, do not order from here.

This company does not offer overnight…
This company does not offer overnight shipping. It took 10 days for my medication to get to me with NO ICE PACKS and was degraded by the time I received it. It was delayed with USPS for 4 days in Phoenix SUMMER HEAT!!! 110+ degrees. The company was not willing to make the situation right and would not refund my money or overnight ship in ice packs. Please save your time and money and use a local pharmacy.
