Most of their products are simply NOT worth buying!
Unfortunately, my experience with Skegic has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the premium positioning and specifications advertised for their products. I purchased several Skegic products, and I am experiencing issues with most of them. The Nexus Max has problems with wireless charging and generates a considerable amount of heat. The MagFold power bank made my phone extremely hot while delivering a surprisingly small increase in battery percentage. I regularly use power banks from different brands, including original manufacturer products, and I have never experienced this combination of excessive heat and such poor charging performance. The Pilot Charger is another major disappointment. During my tests, with both my MacBook and iPhone below 30% battery and connected to the two 65W USB C outputs, I was seeing only around 30W of total output, with peaks of approximately 38W. For comparison, my Anker charger can comfortably deliver much higher power to the same MacBook when used with the appropriate cable. I contacted Skegic customer support and provided detailed explanations, photos and screenshots. So far, however, their responses have mainly consisted of generic explanations about wireless charging normally producing heat and the requirement to use an appropriate cable and a single device to achieve the advertised 140W output. That does not really address the specific problems I reported. When you buy products marketed with premium specifications, you reasonably expect premium performance, reliability and effective after sales support. Based on my experience so far, I have received none of these consistently. At the moment, I simply cannot recommend most of the Skegic products I purchased. My support case is still open, so I will update this review if Skegic takes responsibility, properly investigates the issues and provides a satisfactory solution.
