I was given a watch as a leaving present. The watch face covering broke within 3 weeks. I was charged £31.50 for a repair despite it being in warranty. It broke again and damaged the movement. I sent it for repairs under warranty. It arrived at the menders 3 weeks ago and I have no idea when I will get it back if ever. I am now one watch and £31.50 down on what should have been a lovely gesture from cash-strapped staff at my last school after 16 years. Don't buy Skagen.

Bought a watch online at Skagen.de on the 6.11.18 on the 24.11.18 they canceled the order. Never got the watch but card was charged twice. Still waiting for my money.

Købte en dyr Skagen taske plus tilhørende pung til vores datter i Tyskland. To år og et par dage efter er den ved at gå op i limningen, trods omhyggelig pleje. Efter henvendelse får jeg at vide, at deres reklamationsret kun dækker et år (er det lovligt??) for tasker. Så konklusionen er: Lad være med at købe dårlig kvalitet. Skagen tror så lidt på deres egne produkter, at de ikke en gang giver to års reklamationsret endsige er kulante ...

I - thought - bought a couple of watches during Skagen's Black Friday Sale. I received a confirmation on Monday, November 26, that the items had shipped. Today is December 3, and thought I'd check to see what happened. Not only did the items never ship, but Skagen also told me they were out of stock and wouldn't be available later. I asked for a full refund and was told that they would refund my money after essentially another week. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I think they did this to kite money. Had I not called, when was Skagen going to notify me that the items were out of stock and give me a refund? I will never do business with them again.

My order got cancelled because $315 is too expensive apparently...I was trying to purchase Christmas presents during black Friday weekend online. I bought two watches (one full price one on sale), two cute purses that were on sale, and a wallet on sale. I placed the order and got an email confirmation saying it would be delivered in 3-5 days, then I started work the next week so I didn't check my non-work e-mail. The next weekend I search for my order info. to see if it has been delivered or will be soon and find an email saying to call in 72 hours or else my order will be cancelled because they needed more information. I called but it had been about 96 hours later to see if it was cancelled and what information they needed. It was cancelled and the items I placed the order for were no longer available - sold out. Why? They flagged the order because it was too much money!!! The customer service rep. was nice enough but just apologized and couldn't do anything to help. I lost my purchases because $315 is too much money? Most of the things they sell are about $200. That policy is simply stupid. They shouldn't have cancelled the order. They should have called me if there was an issue. They shouldn't have sent me an email confirmation if they weren't going to send me my purchases. I have bought 5 watches and additional accessories from Skagen before because they look nice. However, I won't be buying from them again. I buy online from many other companies and all of them are better than this. Such a waste of time and stupid customer service. I don't recommend purchasing online from them.

Worst customer service or lack of that I have encountered. Bought a Skagen Signatur watch for my wife which isn't registering her activity in the gym. Emailed customer service who requested more info on tge watch which I sent immediately. Now no answers for 10 days unacceptable.

I ordered and paid for a watch from skagen.com recieved a dispatch notifination 2 weeks ago to inform me that i would recieve my watch 4-6 working days but the watch has still not arrived. I e-mail skagen customer service twice and got no reply both times. I called customers services and was put on hold for 15 minutes (at the time of me hanging up). Never again!

Similar bad experience to other reviewers: bought a watch with a mesh strap which broke. Replaced it with another strap from the fossil website but ordered the wrong one in error. Sent it back to Fossil who refused to refund me. Bought the correct one from the Skagen store and within months the wires had broken and kept catching on my clothing. Took it into store today and there is no guarantee on the strap apparently so have to buy another one. I have already spent £80 on straps so no way am I buying another one. My advice is not to buy a watch with a mesh strap and not to buy Skagen - quality and customer service are atrocious
