Pyramid scheme that uses generative ai
I downloaded this app in hopes of making a bit of extra money. When leaving a review explaining the refund process is a near impossible task to achieve after giving 70 CAD to this app. My account was suspended not even 4 hours later. Because section 11 was violated. I didn't phrase anything in a rude way, I quite literally just described the details that make you eligible for a refund and how if you live in a smaller town you can say goodbye to your money. There's 3 users in my town and most of them are sitters. There was no way id be able to meet the criteria but with a suspended account for leaving a review? Impossible. I reached out to customer service asking if it was possible only to be told they cannot speak to me further or help resolve my issue because of inappropriate allegations. This is a pyramid scam. Do not give them your money. You need 5 reviews from people who also have to spend 70 bucks (Would like to clarify i cannot confirm if you need to spend the same 70 bucks I did to sign up as a pet owner in need of sitting services etc but im not risking another 70 bucks to try again). And you have to pay booking fees anyway, that's why there's credits. Customer service isnt helpful and they run you around in circles, they only respond at weird hours or tell you to sort it out in the app or with their ai. Worst experience I've ever had with an app. Ive reached out twice to two different people to get my money back because this company uses generative ai on their youtube channel to promote the app and hopes you dont click too much on their website to see its not even finished. Do not buy or use this app. There's 10 sitters in a town next to me and they ask me why im having issues drumming up business? They blame it on the user instead of the fact there's a massive paywall at creation as opposed to the booking fees like more trusted apps. Theres a low user count and you will be punished for not reading the very fine print of a very busted business model. Customer service is also continuing to send emails to my inbox saying that they will take legal action for defamation if they catch you leaving a cautionary tale.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with your experience, but we’d like to clarify a few important points regarding the money-back guarantee. Eligibility for the guarantee is based on the stated terms and conditions, not on the number of sitters in your town. Testimonials can be provided by previous clients without requiring them to make a new booking or purchase a sitter account. This is a common way for service providers to demonstrate their experience and build trust with potential clients. We understand that finding clients can be more challenging in smaller communities. However, the guarantee has specific eligibility requirements that are presented before payment, and we encourage all users to review them carefully before choosing a plan. In fact, our money-back guarantee is designed to give sitters peace of mind, including those living in smaller towns. If you complete your profile and meet all the eligibility requirements but do not receive a booking, you can qualify for a refund under the guarantee. This means you can try building your pet-sitting business with less financial risk, regardless of how many sitters or pet owners live in your area. if you’d like a clearer explanation of the restriction or the guarantee requirements in your case, please contact us at **[email protected]** so our team can review the details. We take feedback seriously and aim to make our terms and processes as clear as possible for everyone using Sittsy.
