I've used it to record on Halloween night and it worked great. I've used it on the boat to see clearly on a fairly dark night. Used it for daytime recording and it's not bad, but it really does nighttime better than any other camera I have.

Amazing device. I am a boater and would recommend this for anyone that could possibility be out at night. I don't care very much about the camera, it's the safety value that I think every boater needs. It says it comes with a bag and strap that I didn't get and would like but the real deal is what you can see in the dark. Absolutely love being able to see in the dark, IT WORKS!!!!

Hi Fred, Glad to hear that Aurora Sport is working well for you! The Sport actually does not come with those accessories, but I'd be more than happy to send them to you. I already have your shipping information. Best, Bill

Honestly its a little grainy. At some point someone said it was a gen 3 but looking through my actual gen 3 night scope this is not gen 3 but if there is moonlight it works well. If you make another recorder with better lighting and clearer resolution I would buy it in a heartbeat. I know you get what you pay for but I would pay for this. Thank you for the opportunity to express my experience with your product.

Hey Dan, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! If the image is grainy in very dark conditions i.e. no moonlight, then adding an IR illuminator will help the overall clarity of our unit. The Pro that is expected to begin shipping in April will have 2x the low light sensitivity over the classic/sport models. If you'd like more information, feel free to reach out on social media or at [email protected]. Thank you for the support!

Great product. I use it in astronomy, sailing at night, as a night scope from my iPhone, and to take great videos at night when none of my friends can use their smartphone cameras well in the dark. I also use it to look in caves when exploring so I do not disturb the creatures living there.

Hey Eric! Sounds like you get a lot of use out of your Aurora! We hope your experience has exceeded your initial expectations. We appreciate the positive feedback, and we are beyond excited for the new developments on the way!

Great product, never would have guessed it would be that good on the water with no light.
