Got the unit very quickly easy to use however wireless communication with Bluetooth off between the unit and my iPad on the boat is spotty the unit turns off in advertently Hopefully Tech suppport can tell me how to get a much more stable connection

I purchased the SiOnyx Aurora (light weapons capable), and separately the Picatinny rail mount. Order Fulfillment: Very Good. The rail mount arrived approximately two weeks after web order placement. Tracking through DHL was adequate. Product Quality (camera rail mount): Good. Rail mount was OEM'ed in the PRC. The dimensions and anodization are good. Plating on the knurled knob is adequate, but not on par with the rail mount. Dimensional fit and mounting to Aurora camera are good. Product Quality (Aurora Camera OOB Quality): Very good. Case packaging is good. Controls and operation are intuitive. Online instructions (web) are required to detail installation of battery and 32GB SIM. In-box instructions are limited to multi-language safety warnings IAW EU directive requirements. Imaging consistent with G2 starlight. Can not assess long term quality & reliability at this early stage.

Great experience. The Aurora exceeded my expectations and provided a clear view of my yard and dogs with very low available light. The Aurora was received quickly, well packaged in a hard case. I plan to purchase a second unit.

Incredible image quality! Great fun with or without extra IR illumination. Can't wait to get the picatinny mount and give it a go on my M4.

So far, I have had a great experience with Sionyx. I am a multi disciplined engineer that has been working in the defense and intelligence industry my entire 25 year career. I procure, design, test, evaluate advanced systems from Radar to FLIR and many things in between. Based on the specs I came across on your product, I decided to purchase and evaluate on my own dime. I am a government critical essential worker who is constantly traveling between combat and hazard zones. Having a personal night vision system, that is light and no hassle in terms of ITAR paper work for PPE leaving the US. This was a great compromise for the conventional hardware I’d be lugging around with me. On a personal note, this device will help me as it’s a part of my bug out bag, should an emergency arise. I am going to evaluate it as a weapon attachment, for low light and night shooting. This I’m looking forward to. I expect the the lag on the Aurora to be an irritation but in a pinch, I suspect the results with a skilled shooter will be better than without. I was a bit disappointed as I intended to test and evaluate the PRO version but you did not have any available for me to purchase. Since I am doing this on my own dollar, I don’t think I’ll be able to contrast and compare the Aurora and the PRO any time soon. I suspect I would be better suited for my own work purposes to have purchased the PRO. That is my heartburn on the subject but I will make due with the current unit.
