I have been involved with Wealth Press and Market Rebellion as well as Simpler trading. Wealth Press has not performed well for me, and Market Rebellion has performed very well for me. I have taken several of your courses and had trouble getting the accompanying work spaces installed on TOS. John Carter's Small Account Secrets has been a dud for me. the screen doesn't yield any results that tick all the boxes on his check list and many of the results are nowhere close to being in a squeeze. After paying you for training on futures trading, I found out that TD Ameritrade had hoops for me jump through to get permission to trade futures. Much the same is true of the course I took from Bruce Marshall. This all leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth concerning Simpler Trading. The most I can say for you is that you are much better than Wealth Press.

I am excited about being a member of Simpler Trading. I have learned a lot about both mechanics and the mental side of trading. As a member of SAM, the one thing that would be helpful when John or Julia post a trade is a little more explanation about why. I don't have all the tools they have so not always sure why they place the trade. I am working to increase my tool box but it will be slow. I plan to stay a member and keep working to get better. Enjoying Simpler Trading but receiving way too many emails…about 5-6 daily. Maybe I need to change my settings? Also getting logged out regularly and then have to login again. Some very nice trading ideas!

Started with Simpler 4-5 years ago. John was at the helm and greatly appreciated his insights and sharing trading outlooks and experiences. Learned a lot from him and from Henry. I was so very comfortable with the site and continued to learn and enjoy the routine for a couple years. I referred many of my trader friends to Simpler... and never got a Thank you. If asked for my review 3 years ago it would have been 5 stars. Then, it happened.... The original closeness and detail began to disappear and more sales for classes and indicators kept coming and coming.... and still come very frequently. JC became less available and more and more commentators ( several I would definitely exclude from viewing and hearing) came on board and the original format was forgotten as JC went to vacations around the globe and much less time did he spend with his original or recent followers. Alas, as growth occurred, the attention to detail and personal contact disappeared, as evidenced by the automated phone answerer now, and the lack of patience exhibited by staff now answering the phone or actually returning calls, as live phone contact is not existent now. I wish JC great success as I learned so much from him and Henry, but I prefer to return to the days when a person answered the phone and was not rushed to give one answer to my question and get me off the phone in order to service another (disappointed paying subscriber) who used to be engaged by the service team . Too bad, Simpler Trading... I know you have bigger fish to fry now... wish I were one of them .

I like the general education and information you provide members. I am frustrated that you tend to recommend purchasing additional indicators, etc in order to improve the trading. There are a lot of existing indicators on TOS and it would be great if training would use existing, available indicators.

Got their ultimate options debit course. The course is not a course but edited recording of some seminar that John did. It would have been nice if actual effort was put into making a course rather than recordings. The content of the course are just okay... I hear their rooms are better than their courses. Clearly they are just trying to milk the customers. I wish they cared more about providing value to their customers than how to break things into multiple parts to make more money. Very frustrated by his teaching approach, will go over the course again and see if it makes more sense but listening to John it’s obvious he is more of a sales guy than a trader at least that’s what it feels like. Okay, didn’t want to alter my original review. So adding my comments here. Went over the course again and it did make a lot more sense. Maybe now that I was better equipped it made more sense going over it a second time. I’m upping the rating to three stars from 2. But John can most certainly make a course course and do a better job than edit a recorded webinar and sell.

It is a great place to learn how to trade but I would strongly recommend not to take the trade alerts for at least for the first 2 months after that if you see they are working you can take them slowly, if not you will loose a serious amount of your trading capital. Be aware the sector secrets mastery and do not believe the P&L at the SZ mastery. If I had to recommend one it would be only the small account mastery the P&L over there is correct but still test the alerts first before investing your money.

What I Like: The objectivity and non emotional trading environment Open book trading,...the results are clear to see, good and bad Lots of learning material in easy to understand formats Trades are explained and John is sensitive to the varying levels of traders Really appreciate the discipline to limit size of trades based on percentage risk I found the saturday trading secrets class to be fantastic for my skill level (7 years on TOS), extending my knowledge on many fronts What I have mixed feelings about last 6 weeks have had some great trades and terrible trades, overall results are just so so There have been many days where it seems we are left on our own with Candy doing "cover" Annoyed with 7 days for $7 dollars pro trading room then immediately billed the next month ($250) and told I didnt cancel soon enough ...even though 7th day was Presidents day holiday (markets closed) I pushed back and got it resolved "as a one time courtesy" Overall I find great value following John's trades and the supporting documentation is super. Results so so but expect overall to do well with time.
