Their 100 day warranty is a complete scam. The only easy part of the process was picking up the car. After that, all of the problems started. Once I bought the car, I took the car to Hyundai to be serviced and they said the rear shocks were blown and needed to be replaced, so I took it to one of Silverrock's authorized mechanics (Carvana's warranty provider) and they confirmed the same. Silverrock denied the claim even though I was within the 100 day warranty period. The lack of working shocks severely effected the handling so a month after buying the car, I had to pay $900 out of pocket to fix them. The car was also missing its floor matts, so Carvana put cheap generic ones in instead. The driver's side matt that they provided kept getting stuck under the gas and brake pedals, so that also needed to be replaced. That was another $300 out of pocket. 1 of the wheels was missing it's wheel lock. The other 3 wheels have wheel locks, but no key for the lock, which makes it impossible to change the tire without breaking the wheel lock off. Instead of sending me the key or taking care of the issue, I keep getting the runaround from Silverrock. Overall, its been a really terrible experience. I hoped that Carvana and Silverrock would stand by their warranty instead of doing everything possible to avoid taking responsibility.

This warranty is a joke. They just do enough to get you out the way and get over on you. After weeks of searching for a repair facility I had to come to terms with paying the out of network cost. None of their in-network facilities could do the job because they don't have the Mazda codes they need to do it. Now we are here with the warranty covering my engine and they decided to give me high mileage engine due to the originally engine being on recall. so not only am I getting a used engine it also has high miles on it already. the option is either I find another engine and pay the difference from what the warranty will cover or take the used high mileage engine. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM CARVANA AND GET THIS WARRANTY.

After taking delivery of a car I purchased from carvana, I noticed that the driver side mirror would not angle upwards so I can see traffic behind me. I contacted carvana who referred me to a repair shop. That repair shop then turn to repair over to Silver Rock. Silver Rock told me to take the truck to a dealership because it is a dealer part. After missing a half day of work to go to a dealer, Silver Rock tells me that this is not at all covered under their warranty even though I reported it on day two of having the car. Carvana is working on getting this fixed for me I believe. But Silver Rock has been completely worthless and actually cost me money because I lost overtime at work to take it to a shop that told them the exact same thing that was told by the first shop. Silver Rock as a joke and if I was paying for it I would cancel it immediately!

I purchased a car through Carvana on August 13th of 2026. I had the car checked in the 7 day window. No problems reported. As I drove the car past the 14 day window, I noticed a lot of transmission issues; slipping, slow start, strange noises. I was within the 100 day 1,400 mile warranty with Silver Rock the warranty company that works with Carvana. I took my car 40 minutes from my home to an approved mechanic on their deductible list. The car ended up needing a whole NEW transmission. The fluid was black with metal in it. The mechanic started a claim on 9/12/26 and I called Silver Rock that day. They said I could rent a car, out of pocket for up to 10 days or $600 dollars. They also said I could use Uber/public transportation and that within 90 days I would be reimbursed. I drive a total of 120 miles to work, this was not possible. I am now on day 19 of the car being at the mechanic, because Silver Rock had to send a third party inspector to inspect what the mechanic on their APPROVED list of mechanics said. That took 3 days. They did not count the claim day as the 9/12 even though it is recorded - they counted Monday 9/14 as the first day. Once the inspector went, there was then a 24 hour wait period for them to submit a call and report to Silver Rock. I was not allowed to see this report, nor obtain a copy for my own records. I spoke with Silver Rock multiple times throughout the 19 days especially after the 5-7 business day window of the mechanic RECEIVING the refurbished transmission passed and no communication. I called asking what was going on and was told that they would, "figure out what was going on and get back to me". No one ever got back to me from Silver Rock, the mechanic called and said it was delivered to the wrong business. I called Silver Rock and asked what could be done about this, as it is now 19 days, my car is supposedly ready, but they expect me to pay a $100 deductible to get my car. Worst business, rude employees. Spoke to supervisors, absolutely horrible. Took ZERO responsibility.

⭐ 1 STAR — AVOID SILVERROCK What exactly is the point of paying for an extended warranty if SilverRock refuses to listen to the dealership actually diagnosing the vehicle? Our car, purchased only 7 months ago, is now facing approximately $17,000 in repairs, including an engine replacement. The Hyundai dealership spent over 30 minutes speaking directly with SilverRock, explaining that they believe the engine is causing back pressure into the catalytic converter. SilverRock STILL refuses to budge. They continue relying on an outdated August 22 diagnostic and insist that WE pay for the catalytic converter first because it isn’t covered — despite Hyundai specifically telling us they do not recommend replacing it first. Meanwhile, my daughter, a full-time college student, has been without her car for over a month. We paid for this warranty expecting protection when something major went wrong. Instead, we’ve gotten delays, excuses, and a company seemingly more interested in finding a reason not to cover the repair than actually resolving the problem. Absolutely unacceptable. I would NEVER recommend SilverRock.
