SignMyCode.comReviews of signmycode.com

Stay away from this fraudulent company! We purchased a 5-year code signing certificate, but in reality we only received about 3 years of usable service. When the certificate expired, as they said we must purchase a new 1-year certificate before they can transfer the remaining prepaid validity. Price of such 1-year is more than was our 5-year cert! Furthermore they firstly promised refund, but finally they told 30-day is over. (Of course, if our order was 3 years ago!)

I bought a 5 year certificate in March 2023 and they gave me a certificate with only 3 years and a few month lifetime. I now wanted to get my remaining certificate lifetime but they told me this can only be done by purchasing a new certificate. But I do not want to purchase a new certificate. I then aks for a partial refund. But they said no. And after a few emails they've stopped answering. I paid in 2023 in upfront and I'm not getting my full validity. I think it's outrageous that SignMyCode isn't willing to at least offer a partial refund. I will never ever do any business with SignMyCode.

Bought a 5 year certificate back in 2023, and they only gave me a 3 year one, saying that when that expires they'll issue me another 2 year one. Had an email through about the renewal, and they now want an additional $300 just to issue the remaining 2 years. That's more than I paid for the 5 years in the first place! Support are quick to respond but very unhelpful.

I purchased a 4 year code signing certificate back in May 2023. They provided it as a 3 year initial plus a 1 year extension I was supposed to receive automatically. Now that my 3 year term is up and I need to obtain my remaining year, they say I have to buy another one year term at $302 to release my extra one year that I already purchased. Should have known it was a scam when they didn't give me my paid 4 years up front.

I ordered an EV Code Signing certificate over a month ago. I had to follow up multiple times to keep the ball rolling on validation. It turns out they gave Sectigo an email address for me containing a typo they made. So, today I'm sitting here with a $900 token in my hands but no password to access it. I follow up with support every other day and they give me the run around. Will initiate a chargeback if I don't have a token password by Wednesday.

Just after receiving my Sectigo code signing certificate, I requested a reissue to change/remove my personal email address. However it never came through. After following up with support, I was informed the only option was to purchase a new certificate due to hardware key requirements and to note the price had increased significantly from $150 to around $600, plus $130 for shipping. Although Signmycode.com acknowledge their mistake of not resolving the first request, they refused to provide a replacement certificate and would only offer 10-15% discount on a new order, even though their website was offering a 20% discount at the time! After many chats and emails they agreed to waive all certificate costs except for the shipping fee. Unfortunately, this still meant that my total expense would be nearly double to fix *their* mistake. Beware of promises - they may not deliver - even when they admit they are in the wrong.
