The booster gives me 4-5 bars in the immediate proximity of the booster. Without it I only get two. However, a couple months after first using for the booster, it sometimes stops working. Seems to be heat related. The light goes from green to red when this happens. If I elevate the booster by rolling a pencil under one end of it, it seems to work better. The booster is placed on a wooden shelf, not near a heater, etc. The ambient temperature in the room remains pretty close to 70 degrees F.
