Very disappointed with the service. I paid for the full package, which included 30 days of design review support. Unfortunately, after receiving the initial design, I was unable to get any response to my revision requests. Emails went unanswered, and there was no customer service phone number or reliable way to contact anyone for assistance. The lack of communication and support made the entire experience frustrating. When you pay for a service that includes revisions and support, you expect the company to honor those commitments. Save your money and look elsewhere if customer service and communication are important to you.

This was a waste of time for us. I communicated some things via an initial phone call that were completely ignored. While it seems like it wasn't too expensive, for us it was a complete waste because things were needed were not considered. He was really using the phone call to upsell us more services and try to make more money, but never really heard my comments and just designed whatever he wanted.

Bait and Switch I bought the design Best Selling 'Both Yard Design' package and scheduled the phone consultation. The first thing that they did during the phone consultation was advise me that this package was limited to only 3,000 ft2 of yard, and that the design fee to complete my project was going to increase from $297 to $1,100 based on the size of my lot (1/2 acre). I told them to cancel the order, and I was told that someone would get back to me within 3 days to confirm my cancellation. Let's see if they come through.

It honestly looked like it was thrown together by a beginner. When I asked for revisions to fix the issues, they wanted another $87 — on top of everything else. At that point, I walked away. By then I had already spent $361 and still didn’t have a usable landscaping plan or anything I can use. Has to seek out a legitimate designer. This experience felt like a classic upsell funnel: get you in with a low initial price, then nickel-and-dime you for everything that should have been included from the start. This is a scam upsell business that is all about the money, not the service or quality work they provide.

I immediately began submitting revision requests almost every day. I received zero responses from my project manager Sean. After 7 days of silence I emailed ShrubHub directly. They blamed "technical issues" and promised an immediate follow-up. That never happened. I then requested a full refund. No response. I have called multiple times and no one picks up. Their website advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee and "100% satisfaction." I received one unusable design, zero revisions and zero communication. I paid for a service that was never delivered. I would not recommend ShrubHub to anyone.

Don't believe their money back guarantee The first consultation call they asked for much more money (x3) than the plan I signed up due to my yard size. Ok, so I refused. The project manager on the phone said they will do the refund. Since that call they have been no responsive on neither chat or email. Until I disputed with PayPal, then they offered a lower 'more money' game. I refused again and asked for refund. It's been more than 30 days, and I am still disputing all their charges with PayPal. This company is dishonest and doin a bad business practice!

I wouldn't even give a 1! I wish I had read the negative reviews (which are very unlike the 5 star ratings). I uploaded the same pics to ChatGPT and got a better and complete design w/an AI pic in 5 minutes for FREE vs the one I paid several hundreds for. They only used the few hydrangea and hosta suggestions that I gave them as a border around the whole yard. They suggested I plant 5 gallon hydrangeas around the base of an existing Maple. I sent an email asking whether that would kill the roots (it would) and got no response to the question - despite paying extra for the ability to make revisions. No cut flowers, as I requested. The yard is a perfect rectangle; the "design" came back with an 8 foot bed on one side and a 10ft bed on the other. I am so disappointed! Don;t waste your money.
