This is scam company! They did nothing! They kept my money! DO NOT USE

I found this app right after I signed up for Shrubhub and agree with previous comments. The 3D diagram is accurate to the dimensions I gave them but did not follow my description at all. The “30 day free consultation” really means it’s a window to upsell you other services. Asking questions about shrubs, wanting a revision are all added charges. Going to my local nursery should have been my first and only action needed.

This experience has been thoroughly disappointing. After waiting for two weeks, I received an unusable design. It was so bad that even my 8 -year-old son was mocking it. He's an avid Minecraft player who likes building complex homes with elaborate structures and bridges. The design I received looked like a 5-year-old child created it. The instructions, photo inspiration, and site drawings that I provided were entirely ignored. My house and lot looked like a wedge when the rectangular dimensions for the work area were clearly defined in my provided drawings. On top of the half-baked and unusable design, you will receive poor customer service with inadequate and short responses. I received no timeline-specific updates and no clear response. When I complained about my design and asked for a new designer, no information was provided besides a brief statement saying they would find another designer. After that, nothing. The design was quickly removed from their site, or I would have downloaded and posted it with my review. After receiving no clear update on the next steps, I requested a refund within the 30-day period with the option for them to produce a new design by a specific date. No updates. No design. No concern. I patiently tried to work with them, but there is only so much frustration a customer should be expected to face. When I asked to proceed with the refund I requested, as I still had no design, they claimed that the 30-day period had expired, which is false. These people are disingenuous and intentionally try to wait out the 30-day refund period. They refused to issue a refund even when presented with proof that I had already requested the refund. Their strategy of waiting out and ignoring frustrated customers until they give up simply won't work. This business needs to be investigated for questionable and deceptive business practices. I will post this review everywhere possible and contact appropriate agencies.

Don't waste your money!! It took forever to get any plan and they ignored all my notes and requests so got nothing I wanted and absolutely no details. Wanted a living green wall but was not given the type of species or type of herb, just a drawing of green plants nothing listed.

The designers are terrible and didn't understand a thing i communicated. The designed were cookie cutter and looked bland, absolutely nothing like the inspiration pics i had put in. Don't be fooled by the pics in the website. Also the pricing is very deceptive. Will not recommend this service!!!

To anyone considering hiring this company, I would consider other companies. Yes, they make beautiful renderings however, in their contract, they promise to give you links to the furniture you can buy that fits in your area. This did not happen and after many many months of going in circles, they came back with furniture that won’t fit in my backyard. They certainly don’t care about the end result and only want to provide a pretty rendering. Save your money!

We paid nearly $1,000 in Shrubhub's VIP design package, hoping for a top-notch service. However, our experience turned out to be a complete disappointment. According to Shrubhub's terms and conditions, they offer a conditional 30-day refund policy. Sadly, this policy is nothing more than a joke, as I'll explain below. Firstly, it took Shrubhub two weeks after we paid $441 to even initiate a conversation with our project manager, Ryan Ford. To our surprise, the primary objective during this discussion was to upsell us to the VIP package, which would cost an additional $550. The delay and pressure to upgrade should have immediately raised red flags about their dedication to customer satisfaction. When we finally had our one and only phone consultation, another two weeks had passed. During this call, we took the time to describe our landscape vision in detail. Little did we know that we had unknowingly forfeited any possibility of a refund, even though we hadn't seen a single design draft. After an additional month of repeated delays, we were presented with the design draft. To our dismay, it completely disregarded the input (videos, photos, inspirations, measurements etc.). The quality of the design was poor, clearly rushed, and utterly useless for our needs. When we expressed our disappointment and concerns via email to Ryan, he dismissively shifted the blame onto us, as if we were at fault for their shortcomings. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I made two separate calls to Shrubhub. On both occasions, the representatives expressed sympathy and assured me that they would escalate the matter to management. However, no one from Shrubhub ever followed up within the promised timeframe. It became apparent that they were overwhelmed with demand and treated designs as mere products on an assembly line. Customers are left with no choice but to accept what they're given, as the refund policy renders any possibility of getting their money back nonexistent. Take this as a word of caution: Be extremely wary when considering Shrubhub's services. Our experience with the VIP design package was a complete disaster, marked by poor communication, disregard for our inputs, subpar design quality, and broken promises. It's crucial to think twice before investing your hard-earned money with this company.

Terrible service, design, etc. My comments, notes and phone meeting with my "designer" Alex, did not translate into anything that was drawn. Part of the house was missing. Landscaping was put all over the .80 acre property when I specifically said I just wanted landscaping just right around the front and the back of the house and the pool. A fire pit is drawn under a covered area - seriously? Trees are all along the edge of the property and undiscussed walkways, including a sidewalk to an old barn that was never discussed! How could he add all the stuff that wasn't discussed and nothing that was? I guess that is justifying his costs - but it doesn't work for me. I felt like we had a good discussion of what I was looking for. Obviously he did not listen to me at all. The drawing is not remotely usable as drawn and not what I asked for! Frankly it is simply incredibly basic and very little time was put into the "drawings" - this is basic drop and drag crap. No design, no review of my comments. The biggest disappointment however is the additional costs that were added after I had an appointment set up and then somehow the price was 3 times what I paid for. I honestly feel like I got taken and I was not remotely listened to. Feels like a scam and I want a refund.
