Shopper Approved is a Useless ordeal
Shopper Approved is a useless ordeal, useless information.
Phat Performance has a 5 star rating according to them. So ordered parts based on that, never received them. Received a "delivery confirmation" email from Shopper Approved. For what, never received anything. Then the email has no direct link to leave a rating! Only a link if you received the item!
Every other review site has negative reviews on Phat performance as does the BBB site. Even has 35 complaints against them.
But lo and behold Shopper Approved has them as 5 star rating.
What does that tell you? Tells you Shopper Approved is a tainted, skewed, bogus review system!!!
Response from Shopper ApprovedApr 8, 2019
Hi Rick,
The reason we have higher stars than the other review sites is because we collect active reviews from all of their clients. All of the other review sites only collect reviews passively; primarily from people who have had a bad experience and are looking for an outlet to vent, which makes those passive ratings very negatively skewed, and therefore unreliable because they only show one side of the story.
You have to look at all the reviews collectively, which is why we try to collect reviews from every single one of their customers, whether good or bad. This way you get the true picture, and the most accurate rating.
I hope that helps.
If for some reason you still haven't received your product from them, please reach out to us and we will see if we can help to connect you to someone over at Phat Performance. Just email our friendly support staff at [email protected].

Shamelessness Approved
I gave money to sendflowerstobrazil.com because they are highly recommended by Shopper Approved.
I was shamelessly fooled by sendflowerstobrazil.com,and here on Trustpilot I can see many people having the same experience trusting Shopper Approved.
1) I ordered an expensive Christmas themed bouquet to be delivered the day before Christmas, the 23rd.
They did not deliver next day as promised but 3 days later.
2) They swapped the pretty bouquet with a single orchid of much lower price,no Christmas theme at all, just a lone stalk.
3) I ordered 300 grams of Ferrero Rocher, good quality chocolate. They swapped this with 200 grams cheap tasting Brazilian chocolate.
They didnt deliver on anything.
Good the recipient have a sense of humor, she said it was tragicomic with this completely transformed gift.
Mostly tragic when you have to pay a lot for cheap, crappy stuff.
I tried to talk with sendflowerstobrazil.com, but they said that the recipient approved the order when they called!! Their reply consisted of absurdities, meaningless excuses and untruthful statements.
Shameless people are running this company.
I did not receive any form of survey to give my review of my experience after my purchase as Shopper Approved claims. And plenty people are saying the same here on Trustpilot.
It seems that Shopper Approved and other "creative" companies have a profitable operation together here.

Hi Leonid,
Based on your comments I can see that you are upset and that you had a bad buying experience with one of our clients, which is very unfortunate, but it does occasionally happen in the natural course of business.
I double checked and our system is logging all review invitations and everyone is receiving their survey emails. If for some reason you didn't receive one, please let us know and we can resend it.
If there's anything we can do to help you, please let us know by emailing [email protected].

In response to Papabear's claim that Shopper Approved is a scam
In response to Papabear's claim below that Shopper Advantage is a scam, Shopper Approved replies:
"While we do invite our client's customers to leave initial reviews after they make a purchase (to gather feedback about the shopping and checkout process), every one of our client's customers that fills out an initial review receives the opportunity to fill out a full survey once they receive their product or service, so that we can provide the most accurate feedback possible of the complete shopping experience from checkout to fulfillment to future potential customers. We do not allow our clients to control the review process, which ensures that everyone that makes a purchase receives the ability to complete both an initial and a full survey."
This reply and the replies to others with similar complaints don't mitigate the fact that misleading information is being passed on in Google Seller Ratings. Both the number of reviews and the average ratings are grossly exaggerated and biased since the vast vast majority of people are rating the checkout process (how ridiculous!) and not the service or product.
A company with an inferior product or service can amass thousands of positive reviews at checkout time and any negative reviews that might surface later are guaranteed to have no impact in this context. It's, for this reason, I believe Shopper Approved is a scam review website that helps lousy clients trick consumers.
This type of public deception is built into the Shopper Approved business model. It's no wonder that they have such bad reviews open review platforms like this one.
I would be surprised if Google is aware of this deception, given their abhorrence of fake reviews. I would find it hard to believe that Google Ads condones deceptive review and rating profiles.
Nevertheless, consumers need to be more aware of the sources of Google Seller Ratings and factor this information into their buying decisions.

Hi Larry,
Thank you for your comments.
We do offer our customers the ability to leave feedback, both after the initial purchase and once they've received their product or service.
While no review platform is perfect, we do feel that our results are much more accurate overall than passive review sites, who let just anyone leave a review. Passive review sites are almost always negatively skewed, because upset customers are significantly more likely to leave a negative review than happy customers, which creates an negative bias for most companies and actually harms their reputation over time. However, with Shopper Approved, every single customer gets an equal opportunity to provide feedback, good or bad, and we try to collect and display that feedback in a way that gives potential customers the best overall picture of the company.
Ultimately, we believe that people want to read reviews from an active review site like Shopper Approved, who only collects feedback from actual verified customers that have made a purchase, vs. a passive review site who allows anyone to leave a review, without any validation, regardless of whether or not they made a purchase.
A perfect case in point is this very review page. Shopper Approved is one of the largest, most respected online review companies in the world. We collect millions of ratings and reviews, but you don't see all those millions of people who have had positive buying experiences from our clients going out of their way to leave 5-Star reviews for us. Instead you only see a very small percentage of people who have had a bad experience with one of our clients posting bad reviews here. But since they had a bad experience, then the company they bought from must be a scam, which means that we must be a scam by association. The reality is that 99.9% of our clients are incredibly hard working, honest companies just trying to do their best.
But ultimately we take the hit, because Trustpilot is a passive review site, so there's nothing we can do about it. All we can do is try to answer any questions and concerns to the best of our ability, and to help whoever has had a problem in any way we can, which we always try to do.
I hope that helps to address your concern.
Sincerely,

sketchy at BEST
is it stealing keypresses? Running a miner? Or just terrible?
I thought my keyboard was going bad. repeatedly hitting keys in these forms and its not taking- Very slow key response ONLY on their sites. Are they running a bit coin miner in the background?
Was originally there to follow up with an order from another site.
They wanted my order number- fair enough- BUT THERES NO WHERE TO RESPOND!
only if you click the button for "it didn't solve my issue" AND " I want someone to follow up"
Like its a BASIC web form.
Like google forms can do this.

Hi Nonenone,
I don't exactly know how to reply to this review.
To be honest, I originally flagged it because it makes no sense, and has no context or reference to what we do. We also don't ask for order numbers. I wish I could help, but I don't understand what you are trying to say. Sorry.

terrible system
terrible system. Over priced, buggy, terrible control panel. Loads bloated scripts into your website.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for your feedback. We've been working behind the scenes on a new control panel that will significantly improve our client's overall experience, launching in 2019.
We haven't had any other complaints regarding our scripts, but we are also making them more streamlined in the future.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

Great product!
I have been using ShopperApproved for over 2 years and am very satisfied. It has helped grow my small business for sure. It is easy to embed the reviews as widgets into my web pages.
Also, their customer support for me has been excellent.
The negative reviews I read here must be from novice user who have not figured out how to drive the system.
Great product!

horrible review system
horrible review system. It says customers about experience immediate after making a purchase and not after you actually receive a product. Most of the fraud websites online have great reviews on Shopper Approved as the nightmare begins after you place a order with this sites.

Hi papabear,
Thank you for your review.
While we do invite our client's customers to leave initial reviews after they make a purchase (to gather feedback about the shopping and checkout process), every one of our client's customers that fills out an initial review receives the opportunity to fill out a full survey once they receive their product or service, so that we can provide the most accurate feedback possible of the complete shopping experience from checkout to fulfillment to future potential customers. Shopper approved should be called…
Shopper approved should be called 'scammer company approved'. Company's like SeatingMind have a high rating which goes against every review site on the internet. The reviews for them are so contrived it's funny to read them. SeatingMind are mafioso from NJ who scam people into thinking they are getting a new or like-new chair. BS!!!
Response from Shopper ApprovedNov 21, 2018
Hi baba,
Let me see if I can help here...
The reality with SeatingMind is that they sell used higher-end office chairs, and anything 'used' is bound to get some negative feedback - especially on passive review sites like Trustpilot and Sitejabber, where reviews in general are disproportionately negative. Our star ratings are higher because we collect ratings and reviews from all of their customers, both good or bad, so our reviews are actually more relevant because they are from actual customers that have made a purchase.
I hope that puts things into a better perspective.
All of that being said, I'm still sad to hear that you had a bad experience. If there's anything we can do to help you resolve any issues with SeatingMind, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected], and we will do what we can on our end.
Sincerely,
