ShopHairWigsReviews of shophairwigs.com

deleted all of my past orders. after years of shopping there you would think they would appreciate it. I mostly shopped there for one wig. however the customer service is atrocious. they email you all these coupon codes but cant use them at check out glad I don't fwt

On 11/30/23, I placed an order on Shophairwigs.com for an IT'S A WIG - Salon Remi 100% Brazilian Human Hair Wig, Color: Dark Brown for $69.29. Upon completion of the order, I received an email which stated the Order Number was 101611043, but there wasn't a picture. Most orders now also provide a written description of the merchandise/products and a picture of what was purchased. Since I wanted to see a picture of the wig I ordered, I went back to Shophairwigs.com to find a picture. I searched, but I couldn't find it anymore. I searched for 30 minutes without any success, so I engaged with Chat. My order was placed at 5:05 am. It was several hours later by now, but the Live Chat Rep couldn't find my order with the Order Number and other info I provided to confirm the order was placed. The Rep then asked if I had checked Ebonyonline? I asked why would I check Ebonyonline when I placed the order with Shophairwigs.com? I stated that I wouldn't be purchasing from Shophairwigs.com anymore as their purchasing process was too confusing. I've also placed orders with Ebonyonline previously and they WERE NOT PROCESSED CORRECTLY or RESOLVED in a TIMELY MANNER! The Rep (Larissa) advised that she would research my order and send me an email. I finally received the information I needed, but I'm not accustomed to having so much trouble with a single-item order. Larissa was very professional and attentive.

I have ordered thousands of dollars' worth of wigs from this company. They used FEDEX Ground in which the delivery driver delivered to wrong address. Of course, I was blown off by FEDEX and advised to reach out to the company the merchandise was ordered from that would be Shophairwigs and have them file a claim for lost package. I reached out via email, the only way to contact them received a response that I was basically SOL and if I wanted to GUARANTEE that I would receive my orders, I should have requested a delivery signature (anybody) could have signed for package that guarantees NOTHING. My problem is, I knew when the issue was discarded by FEDEX, the oh well response from Shophairwigs I was screwed. I order from this company 3-4 times a month and as a loyal customer I am left feeling like we got your money, next order you will know better. Not expecting anything to come of this review just buyers BEWARE, hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Free Shipping time??? When you quality for free shipping they always take 8 Business days before they ship, unlike websites like Beauty of New York where they ship the Same Day when you quality for Free shipping

I ordered a wig and, after 7 days of not hearing anything, I emailed them. They said the color I ordered was out of stock and I'd have to wait another 2-7 days. I don't understand why they didn't list it as out of stock on their site. I wouldn't have ordered from them, if I'd seen that! I also haven't received a tracking number so I just have to keep track myself and keep hounding them. Wish I would've seen these reviews first.

About 90% of the time I place an order, I receive an email back from them stating that the color I chose is not in stock. However, it continues to remain as an available color option on their website. When I email them about this I get reaponses back that make no sense and have nothing to do with resolving the issue. I find this practice to be very misleading and misrepresenting to the consumer. Also, unlike other sites, they do not notify you when your order ships out, so you are not provided with a tracking number and left to sit, wait and just wonder when it will arrive. I did give 2 stars though because I've always received my orders and rhey were always what I ordered. For those who complain about the hair/wig...that is the manufacturer's fault, not the store's.

Wow!!!! I'm afraid to order..this is ridiculous.
