Disappointed
I have purchased a shirt from Ember before and hadn’t had issues and was satisfied. However— about July 2, 2022 I ordered two embroidered Eddie shirts (one was the 86 Baby shirt and the other was the crop top Bats shirt). On IG, ember stated she was behind on orders in general but specifically embroidered shirts would take longer. Once those weeks passed, I emailed ember. Never got a response. I finally received the order until November. The 86 Baby sweater looked great (the bats on the sleeve weren’t embroidered as mentioned in the store, but i let it go). However, the embroidery on the crop top was less than stellar. There were gaps between the border and the filling of some of the bats, so it looked like it wasn’t really completed. I emailed ember and a few days passed…didn’t get a response. I left a comment on IG, which she immediately DM’ed me asking for an order number and said she’d be sending a replacement. Obviously it’s mid January now. I haven’t received a response to my original email or the IG message with tracking info for the replacement. Yet her IG stories every now and then update with how caught up her emails are and yet— not even an acknowledgment of what was sent or some kind of confirmation. I know ember is a student and this is obviously a small business and she was under a lot of pressure with the amount of stranger things sales she was getting, but I feel like she’s bit more than she can chew maybe. I very much get the vibe that she’s not truly able to keep with the high demand of sales and customer service necessary with that with her being in school and trying to run this business with all it entails full time. This most recent purchase and the huge communication issues definitely made me less likely to order from her, unfortunately.
