bait and switch!
They advertise upcoming shipments within a couple of weeks then constantly send out emails that it's been delayed another few weeks. I'm now looking at deliver 80 full days after my order. Bait and switch! Edit in response to shopblt's reply to my initial review. When i placed my order on January 3, the items page on shopblt.com showed that you had 400 units scheduled to arrive at the end of January, and that there were already around 370 preorders. Great! There are still available slots and I'm happy to wait a month for a confirmed unit. Then came the first delay to mid February, then came the second delay to the end of February, then came the third delay to mid-March. Once again, when i placed my order, your shopblt.com item page showed that only 370 of 400 pre orders had been placed. Shopblt.com is misleading people by advertising incorrect delivery expectations. They then justify this by replying to negative reviews stating that the customer should have read their small print. Maybe if the small print had told me that I would get numerous unexpected delays stretching out the delivery of my product by more than three times the initial estimate, I probably wouldn't have placed the order. I'll tell you what - if you actually deliver on the March 11th current estimate, I'll change this review. I will be completely honest though, i have very little faith that you'll make that delivery.

REPLY #2: ETA information is not in small print. It's directly on the Expanded Availability Details displayed on every product, in the pop up on when you click the word "ETA" and "Earliest ETA" in the availability charts, in the FAQ, in the Terms of Sale, on every page of the site at the bottom, and directly above the Place Order button. We can only provide people with the information. We can't make them read it. Lastly, you're complaining about manufacturer ETAs. We are not a manufacturer, and don't make up ETAs. They provide them to us, we provide them to you. It's that simple. And your generalized statement about incorrect delivery expectations is completely inaccurate. Graphics cards are in short supply around the world. Manufacturers are missing their ETAs. What ETA would you like us to put up? A made up one? We can only rely on data provide to us. We have no idea if a manufacturer is going to meet the ETA they generate and provide, as we cannot see into the future. REPLY #1: What were you asked to switch to? Nothing. As is iterated in multiple places on the site, in your order confirmation, and repeatedly on this site, ETAs are generated by manufacturers and suppliers. We have nothing to do with them other than relaying them to customers. We understand, and share your frustration over delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over the speed and quantity of production by the manufacturers. We simply must wait for them to produce sufficient product to fill the orders. When they push back their ETA's, there is truly nothing we can do about it. We are always seeking alternative sources for products, and do our best to fill orders whenever possible. And, there is no charge to place a pre-order, and customers are free to cancel at any time without penalty, should they find the item elsewhere.
