I was skeptical at first thinking it would be another of those products that promises the world but fails to live up to expectations. Happy to say I was wrong. It works like a charm. Toilet stays nice a clean with a simple spray after each flush. A breeze to setup and refill and the App is convenient and easy to use. They continue to develop that App and add new features which is a bonus as the product gets a little better with each update. Highly recommend.

I was very impressed with the packaging, the app, and the ease of installation. No tools required. The device senses a flush, then sprays an amount I can adjust with the app. It seems to help keep the bowel shiny clean, but I am within the first 14 days of use, so will see if it stands the test of time.

I was an early adopter of Shine Bathroom products and have been more than thrilled with the results. The ease of installation and the automatic cleaning has kept our bathrooms looking sparkling clean. I have ordered more as Christmas presents for my 30-something kids as they will love this product.

We have incredibly mineral rich water, which means we need to clean our toilets about twice a week. We were super excited to learn about Shine toilet assist cleaning units. We invested in their early development program and got two units out of it. We received the two units as a part of their early release program and while I'd love to say it was perfect, we ran into problems with each of them. When they worked well they were amazing! We went from cleaning the toilets every few days to nearly not at all. In fact, the only noticeable thing was a minor toilet ring that showed up after 3 weeks!! This same ring would be there after a day and a half previously. So let me tell you this was plenty of reason for joy, even with the issues. So talking issues, apparently one of our units had a once in a million issue. We showed pictures to the support team and they instantly sent us a replacement. The other had this issue the battery drained constantly. This one just required a move of the water sensor and that fixed that. While both were not ideal out of the box, this is new tech and yout may have noticed I'm still giving them 5 stars on this rating. A huge part of that is their customer service has been A+ throughout. Their customer service was there to answer and suggest fixes (or straight up fix) every issue. Their customer service arm is beyond awesome and was one of the most incredible bright spots of this whole program! From some of our initial questions, throughout all of these issues they have stayed so on top of every question that we've had. They are one of the primary reasons we have now ordered a third unit for another bathroom and added on some subscription items offered by Shine. I feel like a bit of a homer writing this review and gushing over it all, but I swear I'm just another dude who hated debating with his wife about who cleaned the toilet last and now does that a lot less!

I purchased the Shine because I was having hard water issues in my new home. I was having to clean the toilet frequently prior to hooking up my Shine. Since getting Shine, I have only had to clean the toilet bowl one time. The device works great. I can see the difference and smell the difference too. I appreciate the safer cleaning method, and that it runs automatically. Everything has worked well with the technology except for one hiccup. There was one moment where the unit was not waking up from sleep upon a flush cycle. I simple turned off the power (removed battery from unit and placed back together), and it solved it immediately. I expect these things with technology as it's the same with computers, cell phones, security cameras, etc. I initially had issues with the app when I went to place a reorder with my Shine Unlimited. For some reason it had not be input properly into the system. The customer service quickly responded and got it addressed. They immediately sent me the pod refills to ensure I was equipped with extra pods before I would run out. The unit itself is a great design, easy to install, and easy to maintain. The instructions are clear. The entire process has been very smooth. The battery life is decent for as often as we use the toilet in my house. The device does not come with the charging cables. Most people have the cable needed in their home. For me, I only had lightening cables which do not work. I ordered a cable from Amazon and it worked great. I have heard the Shine company also sells the cables for a reasonable price but I wasn't aware during the initial purchase process. I am very satisfied with my until and have already recommended it to my friends.

Clean toilets for all! This should be in EVERY household! If you are wondering, should I buy this? Will it really do what they say? Is it worth it? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Get it for every toilet in your home. Product customer service is great, in fact it is the best I have ever encountered. I don’t often write reviews, but this product deserves to have more people know about how well it works. Among other things, I have a roomba vacuum, and thought wow this’ll make my life easier. It did to a point, but it still requires a lot of user interaction. Same for many other “automated” things I have purchased. But none have been easier to set up, maintain, or operate more effectively than the Shine Bathroom assistant. I hate cleaning, and don’t have the time for it. I have used Clorox tablets in my toilet tanks for years out of necessity (various black and pink molds growing in just days). And because of the Clorox tablets, I have to replace the rubber seals frequently. If I don’t catch it in time the failed rubber seals leak, and I only realize it as my water bill creeps higher and higher. This solves BOTH problems. My seals don’t degrade, and if for some reason there is a leak I am now notified. No more unexpectedly high water bills. The leak detection feature by itself is great. The fact that it keeps my toilets clean and fresh is just amazing!!! I can’t wait to see what this company does next, I’m all in!

Cleaning the toilet is my least favorite chore....and Shine Bathroom has changed my life! Love the product and the support has been outstanding.

I have had Shine for a little more than 2 months. It was easy to set up and install. It worked as described in the documentation. I have two bathrooms and both of the machines have been cleaning well. The shipping process needs a little work. I ordered and it took nearly 3 weeks to get to me and I had to contact Shine and request a tracking number. The product itself is excellent!
