Fernando and his crew were excellent - fast, hard-working, and respectful. Dispatch led to some confusion and stress, but the folks who actually did the move were outstanding.

Mover called ahead of time to give advance notice of expected arrival time, was able to maneuver 53” truck in apartment complex well, was experienced at wrapping couch, tv, and mattress for protection. He had assistance with a helper and they were able to get my items loaded up in a few hours, with payment and going over contract. He helped a lot by helping to break down boxes and take trash to the nearby trash bin at my complex. My only remarks are of someone taking my deceased son’s last favorite sports drink from my fridge while I ran out for signal to pay. When I returned it was outside to go to the trash, and I thought maybe it was coincidence of the same kind and flavor but when I went to my fridge, it was gone. That made me sad. Then the helper asked me if I had any water or drinks, which I did not even have cups as everything was used up leading to prep for this move.

The team was fantastic. They all introduced themselves to me and did a very thorough move out and move in. I highly recommend this team and Fernando and Jeff.

Horrible service, expected it to be bad but the things that happened were: 1. Movers showed up a day late when I had paid an extra $350 for them to come on that specific date. Had to miss an extra day of work and change my flight and was not compensated for that. 2. Movers were scammy and tried to charge me an extra $600 for a “shuttle” cause they said the truck didn’t fit in the streets near my apartment but that wasn’t true at all and they tried to make me feel bad that they still had to use a shuttle cause another client needed it. Was confused why that was my problem? 1. The movers took forever to give me a time estimate for the delivery and then my apartment elevator wasn’t available since they told me the day before. Had to delay the move another 3 days. 2. Finally they planned to come between 1-3pm a few days later and they showed up at 6:30pm! Didn’t leave until 11pm 3. The movers SHOWED UP WITH NO TOOLS for the boxes, not even a pair of scissors. They had to use a plastic knife and my sewing scissors to open the boxes. The movers said they asked their managers before they left and weren’t given anything. 4. Finally, my beautiful white couch came stained because of the blankets they wrapped it in. THEN they dared to call me the day after to charge me more money for fees they forgot to add after the fact and said they would not review the claim for the couch until after I paid the fee. They were a little cheaper but now I know why!

GREAT CREW and move was here earlier than expected. Specifically Elijah And Terry worked hard and fast moving all the furniture up to my apartments. Asked if i needed additional help and gave recommendations to place furniture in apartment. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and book with them personally again.

Everyone was so kind and amazing and helpful. Elijah was the best. He was so cheerful and took such care of my furniture and belongings. He was very considerate of my circumstances and was super helpful. I would recommend them in a heartbeat

Extremely Disappointed with Service – Urgent Attention Required This was my first time moving across states, and unfortunately, my experience with Shift Van Lines has been deeply disappointing. To date, I have not received my belongings. When the delivery drivers finally arrived, they were inexplicably carrying cleaning supplies instead of my furniture. While I don’t fault the drivers themselves—who were actually the most professional and courteous part of this process—I am extremely frustrated with the supervisors and customer service team. Despite multiple attempts to get answers, I have not been contacted by a manager with any update on the status of my delivery. Furthermore, I have not received any form of compensation or refund, which I believe is fully warranted at this point. This entire experience has added immense stress to my relocation and has left me without essential items for far too long. I expect immediate action to resolve this issue, including: * A clear update on the whereabouts of my items * A confirmed and prompt delivery date * A full refund for the unacceptable service Please treat this matter with the urgency it deserves.
