I have been a loyal customer for years but my recent order had an extortionate customs charge on. I think Thinx need to do a better job of making this clear to customers. I wont be buying from them again even though I do like the pants because its just not finically viable given the customs charge. There are plenty of competitor now that are just as good and way better value.

I ordered these over a month ago and they still haven’t arrived. I’m in the UK and as I’ve not found out that I will have to pay customs charges I’m just waiting to get a note from the post office or something... They are available on ASOS so if you’re in the UK order from there instead if you order from the brand at all.

Customs charges have really put me off ever rebuying from this company. There was no indication that I would be charged for customs. Seems snakey. They're already overpriced as it is.

1 star for superb marketing and strategy, 1 star for actually delivering the products. Bought the saver set, the size recommended was comfortable. But they aren't practical to be worn the whole day. Imagine if you are out, would you be bringing an extra pair of Thinx and keep the one filled with your period back in your bag? I personally don't find it a comfortable idea. Surely it could be a backup and worn with other sanitary products. But doesn't that defeats the whole purpose of investing in such an expensive piece of underwear? After the first wear while having period, Thinx do start to smell despite the immediate wash (just didn't like the idea of having body fluids left in the laundry basket). After repeated handwash, the smell of blood doesn't go off completely. Would strongly recommend to wash them as soon as possible, another point of why it's not practical to wear them when you're out. I was aware there would be tax incurred, but I certainly did not expect the tax that comes after to be a whopping 1/3 of the amount paid to purchase the product (that is inclusive of the shipping charges that too was quite hefty). Surely the tax and shipping charges were out of their hands, but the quality of the product was disappointing considering the price the charged. It could serve as a backup, but a really expensive one.

Should have read here before buying in the uk! Customs fees have made these pants extremely expensive! They better bloody work!

£30 unexpected customs fee that the company does not make clear (it's hidden in the FAQ). They need it to be visible when you're ordering that "You're likely to accrue £-- of customs charges upon entering the UK". Royal Mail adds a £8 handling fee which is ludicrous. Regardless of the product working or not, I am very disappointed. Thinx needs to have a stockist in the EU to avoid these charges for their customers. Will purchase from a UK/EU based company moving forward.
