Shemmassian Academic ConsultingReviews of shemmassianconsulting.com

The whole team was very helpful in providing great edits and very timely responses. Everything happens very quickly in the application process, and my advisor was very prompt with turn around times even when she was on busy rotations in residency. I cannot recommend this service more to polish personal statements and applications.

I rarely write reviews. But when the admission process was over, it became obvious how much the resources that Dr. Shemmassian provides are needed. You can find all the information on his website, you can ask for any advice or choose any package of services you need. Their professionalism and accessibility for everyone is amazing! Their connection with children and parents is amazing! The results we got are truly amazing. Therefore, I firmly want to advise them, and am a little jealous of those who have Dr. Shemmassian and his strong team and information earlier than in 11-12 grades. ps: thanks to these resources, my daughter was accepted into the bs/md program, into all honer programs with presidential scholarships, and into the Ivy League! It seems to me that these are very worthy results;), with a difficult choice. Once again - thanks to the team of Dr. Shemmassian!

The folks at Shemmassian are simply phenomenal. Shirag and Lauren advised us on aspects of my daughter's applications. Their advice was spot on, resulting in her getting into her dream schools. Beyond their expertise, they were patient, warm, and empathetic. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and I recommend them without reservation!

I had an amazing experience with Shemmassian Academic Consulting. While the program was definitely expensive, I am confident that every dime was well spent. I ended up doing the platinum program, but I feel like would have done the gold or silver programs since I didn't end up applying to a plethora of schools (it is a TON of work to do that). I had a lot of concerns about my application, but this program helped me fill in the gaps where I felt like my application was lacking and gave me confidence in the application process. My counselor, Dr. Kevin Nguyen, did a great job of keeping me on track and reviewing my work so I could submit the best possible essays. His feedback was constructive and honest while also uplifting and encouraging. He also did a great job with interview preparation. I am so pleased with this program and would recommend it to anyone.

Great experience dealing with them. I really love their feedback strength and guide. They ans all questions 100 stars for them

This year, applying to medical school has been a difficult challenge, and I am grateful that I had the support and guidance of Dr. Shemmassian and his professional team. At the very start, Dr. Shemmassian connected me with Katie, a consultant who attended the same undergrad as me. In addition to being a great person to work with, Katie has also helped me so much with crafting my application strategy, essays, and interview preparation. I am especially impressed by how she helped me tell my story compellingly in my PS and secondary essays. Coming out of the application cycle now, I am sure that Katie and Dr. Shemmassian’s support made a significant difference in my application cycle. I am happy to have been accepted to Baylor College of Medicine, my top choice! I highly recommend Shemmassian Academic Consulting if you are also thinking of applying.

I am blown away by the help and guidance I received through Shemmassian Academic Consulting! The entire team behind this company is so professional, helpful, and communicative. They really went the extra mile to help me succeed and I am so grateful for that. The aid that I received was invaluable, and I will 100% be returning when I need help with the next stages of my medical applications and exams.

I wouldn’t recommend this consulting firm for law school admissions. Based on my experience and other reviews, their strength dwells in medical school consulting. My results — I decided to postpone attending law school and reapply with the help of a consultant. My results were nearly identical to a previous cycle—when I applied without any help from a consultant. Overall, this was not terrible, since I’m not worse off. Pros — It’s nice to have a consultant to email, text, and call when you have questions. Support (during any application process) tends to be a good thing. Cons — Other consulting firms, such as Spivey Consulting, are far more experienced in the law school admissions process and would likely yield much greater results. In addition, Shemmassian’s comprehensive package does not include scholarship negotiations (for law school admissions). Other consulting firms include this in their packages. Moreover, if confidentiality is important to you and your family, it may be helpful to know that Shemmassian does not adhere to strict standards of privacy—which can result in a breach of ethics and trust. I hope this review helps someone!
