We've been very busy building a new home so we left the assembly of our 15' X 8' Double Door Lifetime Shed to a Carpenter who has been working on our new home. We first layed a concrete pad, and after much confusion about how to switch the sides that the double door would fit on he was finally able to finish with a friend to help him along. As I read in the reviews the directions were incomplete for making changes as to where doors are desired and parts were not correctly listed. I was not surprised when our carpenter called us to say the door was not going where we wanted it. After switching some area walls, it finally came together. There were no anchoring bolts included so they had to be purchased separately. We are very happy with the quality and it's layout. The latches on the doors only cover a minimal amount of the matching latch attachment though so we put locks on the latches as well that work with some difficulty. That latching of this shed needs much improvement. All of our yard tools fit and we can keep the area in our home's garage for other important items. Over all, this shed will suit our purposes.

These are perfect for organizing and looking organized. Stuff your materials inside and shut the door! Lifetime was easy to work with when the first shelve did not turn out. They are all plastic so once you drill into it you can not retract your screw or you will have a permanent and non usable hole. They immediately sent replacement parts. No hassle and it was free. The owner of ShedsforLife was willing to send us a new shelf if Lifetime did not respond to us favorably--greater protection for our purchase! We are highly satisfied. Hopefully these will last as long as their name, a lifetime.

Found shed cheaper on the site than anywhere $200. Shipping was fast. Shipping company wasn't very organized. Can't fault sheds for less for that. Shed was in good condition and went up easy.

The shed is impressive to look at. being able to coordinate the cupola colors with the colors I picked for the shed was a plus, The only negative things are that your shed doesn't meet the current building codes. So I had to purchase a few hundred dollars of additional material to do so. It went up beautifully and only took 4 days start to finish including putting in a structural floor, drywall and both interior and exterior paint. The design at the doors both upper and lower needs to be looked at because I needed to rely on my construction experience to be able to installed weather seals to keep the rain out. I also found your construction drawings to be poorly done. As it leaves details such as the edges of the roof to the walls out. So I had to add material there as well. I still have to figure out a way to install gutters along the drip lines as there is nothing there to attach to. I changed out the hardware on the entry door to some heavier hingers and hasps. Also I bought through bolts to make it more secure. I put deck coating on the floor to give it a wearable finish. All in all it turned out beautiful. My only wish is that I had more room to build it larger.

I bought this shed to fit into a small corner space of our yard that limited the choice of sheds I could consider. I hired our local contractor handyman to prepare the site and assemble the shed including the floor kit. He did it single handedly (not recommended by the instructions). And it took about 23 hours. In fairness this included the trip to the lumber yard and cutting the plywood for the floor. I am very happy with the finished shed. We are using it to store four adult bikes plus tool storage. The shed is wider than it is deep and makes it very easy to access items stored.
