Buyer Beware
I called Sheds for Less with questions and seeking guidance. I explained that I had a lawnmower that is 75 inches long and was looking for a shed that could house it and some lawn equipment. The gentleman from Sheds for Less guided me to a shed that is advertised as 7'x7' and, in his words, perfect for what I need. So I gladly ordered it. After a very busy month, and a bunch of crappy weather, I finally had time this past Sunday to put it together. As it turns out, 7'x7' is a "rough" estimate and the actual dimensions inside are FAR smaller than 7 feet around. In fact, the inside dimensions are 6'4"x6'4". In what world do you round up 6'4" to 7 foot? Even by inches, 76 doesn't get rounded up to 84. So my lawnmower won't fit. I have a shed I can't use. And now comes the fun! Sheds for Less says I'm four days outside of my return window. And even if they get approved to send it back (which I called the shed company directly and got them to approve it) Sheds for Less is charging me 25% restock fee, plus the return shipping, plus I have to find a box that will fit the whole shed as I got rid of mine when I unpacked it. So they want $162 for restocking, roughly $150 for shipping, plus I have to buy a huge box somewhere. So they want somewhere near $350 to return a $650 shed THEY INCORRECTLY LED ME TO BUY. Don't do business with this company. You will regret it.

This customer placed the order on his own on the website without help from one of our sales representatives to enter the order; we have confirmed that by his ip address on the order. The listing of this item shows all the dimensions in inches for the outside and inside measurements of the product as well as the measurements of the door. Our company does not make this product or set these nominal names, measurements or any other information in the description, this is directly from the manufacturer. All measurements and text on the website is given to us from the manufacturer, we do not make those up. This is a clear case of buyer remorse. The buyer should have done better research to make sure the item they were purchasing was exactly what they needed. Writing negative feedback about a company for shipping them exactly what they ordered in a timely manner for a good price is not the right thing to do. Buying the wrong item is buyer's remorse and has nothing to do with the business they purchased from. This same outcome would have occurred if the buyer purchased this item from any other store. The real story here is the customer used the product and is unhappy with it and wants us to come out and box it up for him and haul it away. The customer disclosed to us that they did not even have the boxes the merchandise arrived in and we would have to rebox it. Unfortunately that is not how commerce works with any business. We do not accept returns on used storage sheds without the packaging and neither does anyone else. The item must be in it's original condition in it's original box to qualify for a return. This customer agreed to our return policies during checkout. All the information on our return policies are there and the customer must agree to them before they can place an order. This entire review is defamatory, accusatory and being written to try and force us into giving a refund on an item that no longer has any value and cannot be returned. This return is still denied. The statements being made by reviewer are false statements of fact and defamatory with malice intentions of bringing harm to this business. The business acted in good faith while the customer did not.
