Hi Mr. Sauer, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with your new shed. I want to do whatever I can to help you. It sounds like you had some assembly problems. Did you try to assemble this shed by yourself with the help of some 2x4's to hold the panels up? Once it is completed the shed should be very sturdy if it is all assembled correctly. Would it be ok for us to give you a call and see if we can help you through this? If there is any issue with the product we want to do everything we can to get you taken care of. By the way, we do not make this product, it is manufactured by US Polymers, doing business as DuraMax. I'd really appreciate it if you could leave your review here about our company and the service we provide for you instead of the review for DuraMax manufacturing. Hi sir, I'm the owner and I've been looking into this situation to see what went wrong and see if we can improve anything done from our end. I'd first like to apologize for any inconvenience you had during your shipment, I know how frustrating that can be. I see you instructed the carrier to deliver this without signature. They are technically not supposed to do that without our approval since we pay extra for the signature upon delivery service. We pay for signature service to make sure our customers have an opportunity to inspect their deliveries for accuracy and any damages. I see you did not have that opportunity and it caused some issues because the carrier made a mistake and delivered you the wrong item. The carrier then tried to fix their mistake by picking up the incorrect delivery and didn't simultaneously redeliver the correct item for you. That stinks, I can see why you were mad about that. They should have been more considerate of your time and only made 1 more attempt to pick up and redeliver the correct item. I'm sorry they made this such an inconvenience. I hope now that you have your new shed all is well. If I can help you with anything please feel free to reply to this and I'll be happy to do whatever I can to assist you. Hi Jean, I'm the owner and I was just called into this complaint over the weekend. I've reviewed your complaint and the phone call you had with our representative. We've offered to help you identify anything missing in your carport kit and ship it to you free of charge. All that we've asked for is your assistance in identifying whatever is missing. To help us we asked that you please take a photo of what you have, send that to us and also try to look at your owner's manual to find what parts are not there. In response you threatened that you will tell your credit card that we didn't send you anything and you will also have your 70 employees write negative reviews about my company. I highly recommend that you do neither of those things. We do have those threats recorded. I understand your frustration if you are missing items. Please work with us to figure out whatever it is that you are missing from your kit and we will do our best to ship these to you right away. From the call I listened to it seems like you are missing the back panels of the carport? You were not clear with my agent on that but you did state that at the end of the call. The back of the carport is probably one box or it was not boxed during making the kit. These carport kits are built to order and shipped factory direct from versatube. Hi Mrs. Gosnell, I'm the owner and I've been personally aware of your order and helping on it since you already did a chargeback with your credit card as well. Please understand that your order is being delivered tomorrow and it had a 1 day delay because of your shipping to a different address had to be verified. You ordered on a Thursday evening and on Friday we contacted you to verify your shipping address to a different location than your billing address. Once our verification process to prevent fraud was completed this order was entered for fulfillment. The fulfillment center is closed on weekends so this processed on Monday morning and shipped out on Tuesday morning. The item is a 51 lbs item so it ships ground, not air and takes about 5 business days. Our website states up to 10 business days for delivery. This is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow which is the 8th business day. I'm not sure what the urgency is and why the negativity from you is but please let me know if I can assist you. Posting bad press for my small business and causing disputes with your credit card is really unnecessary and causes my company to look bad online and also costs us chargeback fees. We are available to assist you in chat, phone and emails 7 days a week. I hope you will use our instant customer support to contact us if you need assistance and please consider changing this review once you receive your product. The listing you purchased from says right at the top that shipping is up to 10 days. If this was a birthday present with a need sooner than that I'm sorry we were not able to do that for you. The address verification did slow us down a bit but we do this to make sure we prevent fraud which is pretty rampant and happens daily. If you shipped to your billing address the shipping would have been a little faster. So you're saying once you realized this was not going to make it in time you wanted to cancel it? It is true that once you place an order with us and instruct us to ship something we cannot cancel it free of charge once it has shipped. Is that why you are so upset here, you wanted a free return? I hope you understand that it isn't free for us to facilitate your order and hire shipping for it. Would you like me to process a return for you? I'm really sorry you are upset and didn't get this item in time for your mother's birthday. I hope you will understand it's out of our control. Not a real customer. This order was flagged for possible fraud and refunded to the customer. The customer ordered a $2000 product and wanted to ship it to an unknown address. We tried to verify the address but were not able to and ultimately had to refund the customer. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I'm the owner and I apologize you were not satisfied with the product purchased from my store. The manufacturer of the shed kit you bought is Handy Home Products and we have notified them of your complaint when this happened. My company does not make this product, we are a retailer. To protect the integrity of our business we need to address the concerns you list here for future readers of your review. The shed kit purchased was a 2x3 construction and labeled as such in several locations of the description of our listing as a value shed option. The shed plus shipping costs and all fees was a total delivered cost of just $1099.95 to the customer. The kit included all pre-cut and pre-stained materials to build a do-it-yourself 10' x 8' wood shed. We also included 1 window with shutters and all the materials to build the flooring inside the shed (flooring is usually never included with most wood shed kits which makes this a really good deal). Wood shed kits in our industry are rarely panelized as the reviewer had expected. Handy Home Products (the manufacturer of the product purchases) does Not offer a panelized kit. The kit purchased by this reviewer was one of their lower costing 2x3 stud value sheds part of their Marco series. For the 2x4 constructed sheds they would need to upgrade to the Premier series which costs more for the materials. Warranty concerns for parts included in the kit need to be addressed by following the warranty instructions on the owner's manual included in the kit to open a warranty claim with the maker of the shed; we do not make it. Investigating deeper into this transaction the customer made their purchase on 5/22/18 and did not notify us of any issues until 9/16/18 (almost 4 months later). This item is wood and must be stored inside in a dry location until assembled. Storing outdoors in the elements can cause the wood to warp and become damaged. ShedsForLessDirect.com does not manufacturer the product reviewed in this post. We are a factory direct reseller offering deep discounts on storage sheds shipped nationwide. Any complaint about materials should be addressed with the manufacturer. From my 13 years of doing business with Handy Home they are very good about getting any materials replaced free of charge for any customers who has any issue. Lumber will have warps from time to time and it is covered by the warranty if a customer is not satisfied.

***Anyone reading this complaint should google search Darby Russell Rd Murphys, California 95247 and ask yourself if you would expect a 1000 lbs garage to be delivered there without any issues if you lived on that road or if you think maybe you would ask the company prior to ordering from them. It’s pretty obvious. The road is a curvy, single lane road with low hanging trees obstructing any semi-trailer from entering. This item is only delivered via semi-trailer due to it's very large size.*** Notice this review doesn't state anything about the delivery address. This customer lives in the Indian Hills up multiple curvy, single lane roads with low hanging trees. The customer failed to contact us prior to ordering to inform us of his unique area. At checkout our website Terms instruct the customer to call us prior to ordering if they live in an area with restrictions due to geographic location, inaccessible roads (dirt, gravel, dead ends, single lane, low hanging wires etc.) so we can make sure it is a deliverable area. This customer lives in an undeliverable area and once the freight carrier we hired arrived there they called us and informed us they cannot deliver up there. We then called every freight carrier in the area and none of them could provide service to deliver this garage to the customer's home. In the end we delivered it to a different address chosen by the customer. The customer should have been upfront and honest with us to prevent this situation. Our staff is available 7 days a week for your convenience and this customer could have easily called us to discuss his special needs prior to ordering to make sure we could help him. The customer did not give us that opportunity. He instead now wants to mislead our future customers into believing we just don't do residential deliveries well. We deliver 100's of storage sheds to 100's of happy customers every week. We've helped over 55,000 customers get quality storage sheds at super low prices since 2006. The statements being made by this customer are false statements of fact and defamatory with malice intentions of bringing harm to our small family business. Our business acted in good faith while the customer acted in bad faith. Publishing false claims against a company with the sole purpose of damaging them is against defamation laws in the United States.
