Where do I start?..
Where do I start?... I first joined Sharewell in Oct of 2022, I originally joined after separating from my wife of 10yrs, she was a narcissist and there was a lot of emotional, psychological and verbal abuse, but my breaking point was when she became addicted to morphine and refused to receive help, as a recovering addict I had to choose between her or my sobriety as I have continually getting triggered and craving, as she refused to get help I had no choice but to leave. This was one of the hardest times in my life and I needed support and community, as she'd effectively isolated me completely by the end of our relationship, that's when I stumbled upon Sharewell, I found a community of peers that understood my situation that knew what it was like to go through NPD abuse. Shortly after joining I unfortunately relapsed with my drinking, I'd been sober for 10yrs, I religiously went to the recovery meetings on sharewell along with other recovery meetings I received info about through Sharewell, I continued going to session whether I was in hospital, detox or rehab I Sharewelled through it all and my fellow Sharewellians were right by my side supporting me and cheering me on... Fast forward to now and I'm a completely new person, I'm 2.5yrs sober, and starting just over a year ago i myself became a host on Sharewell, I started off with hosting one session and I now run 5 different sessions something each day of the week. It has helped make me a stronger person with myself, it has helped me come out of a severe depression, out of my alcoholism, with my agoraphobia and with my social anxiety. Sharewell has become an integral part of my healing journey and it's been a pleasure growing along side it, as well as watching people that I've gotten to know grow and flourish on the site. If you need mental health support and a community that understands what your going through I can't suggest Sharewell highly enough, it has literally changed my life and I will always be grateful for that.
