In short: terrible service, rude, unprofessional and unhygienic staff. 😖😤 In long: first they took our order but ended up putting a different burger through and charging us more - despite the server (Tzeni T) repeating the correct order back to us. We only spotted the mistake a few minutes later and when we raised it with them they wanted to charge us again... Even though we had paid more than needed the format timw around. They eventually refunded the difference. Then when we collected our order we got a single burger and a supposed double (which we ordered) but they gave us two singles. We queried this and were told that it was a double. However we stood our ground and the extremely rude supervisor then proceeded to poke and prod the burger with her finger. She wore gloves, but those gloved fingers had touched the computer screens, possibly cash, who knows. We had to insist that this was not a double as it clearly only had one burger in it. They eventually gave us the correct order (I hope they didn't spot on it) but we had to insist that we get a new (unpoked and unprodded) burger. Seriously... This is not hygienic and when we still have a virus going around we do not want to eat a burger than has been viciously fingered by fingers that have been God knows where. The staff gave us filthy looks all the way through our meal which was unpleasant, not to mention unprofessional. In addition the glass they gave us was filthy and had greasy finger prints all over it (as shown in the photo). Will not return but staff really need to be trained in customer service and hygiene.

Randomly change their closing time Came to the Covent Garden branch and all the doors shut up at 10pm when they are meant to be open until 11pm. We tried to order during the day and there was an hour wait for food. Will avoid Covent Garden branch very rude staff and so very dirty

Absolute joke orders tonight and fair to say I’ll never order again did the order through just eat and wanted a completely plain burger however I managed to take the Mayo and a couple of other things off that it came with so I thought it was going to come plain I rang up and they said it was my fault because I should have pressed no salad but it wasn’t there the staff have real attitude problems and I ordered a hot choclate fudge cake that came frozen absolutely ridiculous

Absolutely ridiculous. 9 pounds for the shittest burger. 3 pound fanta, size of a McDonald’s happy meal cup (you can’t even fefill it) never coming here again. My friends payed 5 pounds for nuggets (they are so small) tiny tiny tiny. Fuming. Worst place ever

Victoria. This is not the fast food joint it was pre-Covid! It’s not a pleasant experience ordering (or eating) here. This is not the operation it used to be and, in the interests of fairness; it’s the same for the majority of fast-food restaurants since COVID. Deliveroo seemingly takes presidence over diners and waits are huge for food ordered, should you be dumb enough to stroll in…. Manicness amongst the staff is the order of the day as collection chaos ensues. Diners are left in a minimum 20 minute wait huddle while staff rush around scratching their heads as to whose Deliveroo collection is whose?!!? There’s a production-line ethos developing at all take aways which is woeful. Take aways exist because we are too lazy to cook…..Society is in trouble when it’s subsequently too lazy to collect the food it’s too lazy to cook! Take aways need to rethink….

Visited Shake shack Lakeside as my daughter raves about it! For the life of me can’t understand why! Spent £28.00 for two people which for a mediocre £2.00 chicken burger was vastly overpriced-Fries were cold and nothing to write home about, milkshake was ok but the verdict for me is still out, tasted like caranation milk and lots of it. Absolute waste of money after a 20 minute wait!

Got food poisoning from shakeshack, never felt so bad in my entire life. Stay healthy and stay away!
