You don't mention which item(s) you were looking at (nor do you know what Jay purchased). We're based in Los Angeles, so we are required by the State of California to collect sales tax if we're shipping within the state. If you're outside California, there is no sales tax. Shipping is free for orders $100 or more and very reasonable for orders less than that.

We are so sorry the USPS lost your item and that it was the last one available. We issued an immediate refund and also send you $20 off a future order.

We are so sorry that you were unhappy with the "rock" tealight holder. We wish you would have contacted us right away when you received the item on December 11. We stand behind everything we sell and will always take something back (at our expense) if it doesn't live up to your expectations. We have sent you a prepaid return shipment label and will issue a full refund just as soon as we receive the returned item. Follow-up: It appears you chose to keep the item after all. We did not receive a return from you and the prepaid return label we emailed was never printed.
