HORRIBLE!!! Sentry imposed a lien and filed to foreclose on my condo over a $2900 alleged (but incorrect) “debt” that they will not provide any documentation or explanation as to why I owe it. My condo building changed property managers in 2024 from CMG to Sentry. Shortly after I received a monthly statement that showed I owed about $2000 due to a “previously accumulated balance”. There was no detail or documentation as to what this debt referred to. I autopay my HOA fees and sent proof of every months payment to request this inaccurate bill be removed. Sentry never gave me any explanation and rarely returned my calls. I then sent emails asking for the full documentation of all my financial records and the HOAs billing and documentation, which Florida law REQUIRES that they provide me: specifically Fla. Stat. 720.303(4)(a)10) requires homeowners’ associations to maintain accurate, itemized, and detailed financial records, including an individual member account identifying the due date and amount of each assessment or charge, payments received, and balance due. Additionally, it is a statutory requirement under Fla. Stat. 720.303.5 that once a homeowner requests any/all financial records to the homeowner’s association, said records MUST be provided to the homeowner within 10 business days. As stated, I made this request repeatedly, in writing, to Sentry Management in February 2026, May 2026, and by certified mail in June 2026. To date, I have not received any of the requested records. Yet again, this behavior by Sentry is unacceptable business practice and constitutes a clear violation of Florida law. Sentry has now filed a lien and intent to for close on my home, despite this clearly illegal behavior. I have called lawyers to ask for help to stop the foreclosure and they say it’s $5000-$10,000 to retain their services. Sentry says if I pay it then it all goes away but that is vile and unethical and illegal. I need help and Sentry must stop doing this!! I would give 0 stars if possible. They are lying, cheating, con artists.

If I could rate them 0 stars....it would better fit. NO response. No systems in place to fix problems. They are HORRIBLE. Just Google their overall ratings and reviews. How they can call themselves a management company is REMARKABLE........ BUYER BEWARE

I actually will give them no stars. I really do not know why we pay? Why we need them? This community is getting worse. Foxborough subdivision, Tavares, Florida.

This company is horrible. They made it so difficult to change my mailing address for a rental property that I own in Heathrow Florida. I don't know why any home owner association would use this company.

Sentry management company, sent out late notice with late charges, and interest and other fees, before regular bill. Change their computer software, that the third-party vendor uses and following State of Florida laws.

Zero stars for Sentry management ! Constant and total harassment and selective enforcement from this company and Hartwood Pines homeowner association ! Telling a man with cancer that he has to clean a common area? Which is the sole responsibility of the homeowner association, not the homeowner himself.! Constant threatening letters, over and over and over again ! Never ever buy a home if Sentry management is the management company buy a home with no HOA. Exposing my private information, sending certified letters when this is my primary residence, invading my privacy, constant harassment, blocked by the president of the board, almost doubled the HOA fees in the last three years, everybody else’s lawn in here a third of them are dead, but yet they’re selectively enforcing coming after me. I don’t bother anybody. I’m very private and I keep to myself. But these people are absolutely out of control. The only way to fix your problem is to hire the best HOA attorney you can find which I am going to do. Never, ever, buy a home in an HOA ! Selective enforcement and abuse of power that’s what you get living here !

Sentry Management is easily the worst management company I have ever dealt with. Dealing with them as a resident and homeowner is an ongoing nightmare because their staff completely ignores communication. Simple admin tasks like take months to resolve—that is, if they even bother to reply at all. When you actually need them to address an issue, like a neighbor violating community regulations, they completely ignore requests or tell you to reach out to the police or code enforcement departments because it is not their job but if you look at their rules and regulations it is all listed there as part of the rules they need to enforce. I've had to take the extra steps to include the rule/code number being violated and they still do not care. Yet, when it comes to arbitrary rules, they enforce them completely unfairly, play favorites, and treat resident concerns with total apathy. This total neglect extends to the neighborhood itself; basic property upkeep, common area standards, and preventative maintenance are completely neglected. Worse down, their billing and financial practices are incredibly shady and lack any transparency. They deliberately do not send out the standard bills for dues. Instead, the very first piece of mail you receive from them is a late payment reminder tacked on with late fees. To make matters worse, they will intentionally hold onto physical payment checks and deposit them well after the due date just so they can add extra late fees and interest to your bill. Between the confusing duplicate charges, extra fees, and complete lack of communication, they are doing nothing but draining the community WHILE LETTING THE PROPERTY FALL APART. Avoid this company at all costs.

Worst company ever. We’ve had Sentry for almost two years and hiring them was the biggest mistake our POA ever made. The manager clearly picks favorites and lets basic safety stuff slide all the time. They literally took $30,000 from our phase and handed it over to the main POA with zero paperwork, no interest, and no plan to pay it back. They didn’t even tell the treasurer until after it was done! And when the treasurer asked for details, the manager told them no, but tried to bribe them with a free pool fob while the rest of us have to buy new ones. Sentry never sends out meeting notices either. The only reason we know what's going on is because a few good board members keep us updated. The last meeting was a total circus—a guy showed up, rambled about bylaws, yelled, and then stormed out early with the property manager. Unbelievable. Did I mention the place looks like a dump and fees just keep going up for what? Where is our money even going?
