When we first started looking into surrogacy, we were considering a couple of different countries, and we really cared about two things: the success rate and the legal framework in each country. When we spoke with Bill, he was able to give us very clear guidance on both and helped us narrow down which country made the most sense for us. Throughout the process, Bill introduced us to his local partners and helped us navigate the different people and services involved, including specialty shipping companies. Looking back, those are definitely areas where it would have been very challenging to figure everything out on our own. In the early stages, we relied on Bill's input when it came to things like how to evaluate potential matches and what to think about when deciding whether a potential surrogate would be a good fit for us. He also shared with us what worked and didn't work with his clients. He gave us a lot of thoughtful and practical advice. Overall, we had a good partnership with Bill and a successful journey, and we feel that Bill's guidance helped make the process more manageable for us. There are so many moving pieces in an international surrogacy journey, and having someone who could help us understand the bigger picture was valuable. One area I think could be improved is the final legal stage, particularly the U.S. government process in the local country. The local legal team’s work is entirely for the local country system. We were quite confused on the timing, procedures on the US side, and more clarity would have expedited the process and allowed us to head home sooner. Keeping that part of the consultancy knowledge up to date would make the experience even better for future clients. Overall, though, we are very happy with our experience and appreciate Bill's guidance throughout the journey.

International surrogacy is an intimidating option. However, working with Sensible Surrogacy and their partners in Colombia proved our worries were unwarranted. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters now thanks to the surrogacy options in Colombia. The team was always responsive and helpful with our concerns and questions, whether around legal documents or travel. We truly will miss working with the team in Bogota, though we are in contact with our surrogates still. Truly a life changing experience I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Bill is just a middleman who puts you in contact with a real agency and then disappears. He was friendly and informative in the intro call we had, but that isn't worth $6k dollars. After that, he was completely unhelpful - it would take days to get responses to time-sensitive questions, when the agency we were working with went radio-silent, he did literally nothing. There were various times we tried to reach out to him for help and he never did anything for us. Just connect with an agency directly and save yourself thousands of dollars.

My experience with Sensible Surrogacy was great, especially at the beginning. There are so many options, and it can feel overwhelming—what is the best choice, how to decide, what are the international legal implications, unexpected costs, and how long everything will take. When we spoke with Bill, he explained every option we had and all the implications. For me, that alone was worth every penny, because I didn’t have time to figure everything out on my own. The surrogacy process is not perfect, but overall I’m very happy. We now have a healthy baby boy, and they were helpful throughout the entire process even if sometimes he was taking more time to respond
