I have that sinking feeling in my gut that I've been had by a scam. I requested funds from my bank on 10/27 to purchase ETH and it's now 10/31. I tried to login to sendwyre and they said that I needed to have my account verified. It was verified enough to send money but not to check on when the funds were received? Red Flag. I would feel a little better if I were able to get a person via chat at 3:00pm in the afternoon or via Phone at the same time. Nothing. I just want to let people know that this--along with a steady flow of overly glowing 5 star ratings amidst a few basement bottom 1 star ratings with nothing in between --just a suggestion--steer clear until this can be figured out. This doesn't smell right.

I thought this was a good site through the recommendations of metamask and truspilot reviews. I initiated an ACH transfer on October 9th and was cleared by my bank on the 11th. However, I am still waiting for the funds to clear from wyre as of October 16th. If anyone is in a rush to get crypto-currencies like me, do not use this website. The item I wanted to buy has increased by 2x, and would likely be 3x the original price one the funds hit my wire account. Not to mention how much time it would take to convert my wyre funds into ETH...

I’m very pleased with the usability of their platform and the fees are very fair compared to similar online services. The customer service is also excellent. There was a recent unintentional error with their transfer fees but they let all of their customers know, corrected the issue with refunds, if applicable. Also, a real person, Samantha Terraforte, answered my questions in a timely fashion. There are not enough companies that pay that sort of attention to their customers anymore. I would recommend SendWyre to people who want a trustworthy company for online transactions.

reliable money transfer service, efficient customer service and low fees

I used wyre to transfer funds to an exchange for cryptocurrency. My funds were taken immediately but no coins showed up. I emailed wyre and was told there was trouble accessing my bank...yet they already had the funds. They needed a selfie of me and a picture of blank check. Absolutely not. They said funds would be returned automatically after 7 business days. Its now been almost 22 and want nore bank info to even return the funds they are holding. Trying to get a hold of a manager now. Users beware and stay clear

Really just excellent. It just works. As a side benefit I got to say to someone who I paid using Wyre (someone who has no bitcoin address, who won't accept bitcoin, and who has no payment processor - just an old school bank account), "by the way, that Wyre transfer where you got your USD... I used bitcoin to make the payment." So it got them interested in Sendwyre _and_ bitcoin. Hope to see more success stories like this soon. I do recommend Wyre!
