After mailing my mobile phone through UPS, I was advised that I could check my account on Sell That Cell to track my package. This is incorrect, only the UPS tracker kept me updated. I called after a few days to follow up since I hadn’t heard anything. I’m in CA and my package was mailed to TX. I was advised by a Carter that he would call me back in a couple of hours once he had my phone in hand. He ended up texting late at night which is very unprofessional, advising me that he couldn’t unlock my phone. He sent me text after text, asking where I purchased the phone from and how I wanted him to go about unlocking it. He sent screenshots as well. I truly did not know what was happening with my phone or how to fix it. Carter became very aggressive and informed me that he had to send my phone back to me. I called in again to speak with a supervisor about his behavior and come to find out, he is the owner of the company! I WILL NOT be using this company again. Horrible experience that could have been avoided.

Ms. Williams, you tried to sell us a phone that had "Mobile Device Management" on it, which means it is owned, managed, and tracked by a company who gave it to one of their employees. I asked you if you worked for that company or where you got it to try to figure out if you would be able to have the company remove the phone from their account. I sent screenshots so you could see what I was referring to. You said it was "a gift" and you couldn't get the lock removed, so I informed you that we could not buy it. I told you that we would be returning the device, free of charge and could mail it out the next day. You made an unpleasant response and I asked you not to be rude. You then called and got even more upset when I told you that I was the manager and there was no one else to speak to. The latest text we sent you was at 6:01pm in your local timezone, most people don't consider that to be "late". I'm sorry that we couldn't buy your device, we don't buy locked phones that have messages on them saying they are being tracked by the owner.
