Thank you for your feedback! I see here in the communication for this device, you did negotiate with our Inspections Department, as you selected the "Contact Me" option before check out. All quotes are given to customers as a range from low to high, and the pay out is based on inspections findings. We found the device failed to boot, as such the item is un-testable, and we have to make the fair assumption the device is not operational. Since you selected the "Contact Me" option, you were given the choice to accept the offer of $24 for the device or to pay for the shipping to return your item, as we paid to have the item shipped to us initially. You selected and indicated to the Inspections Department "...please send the check for $24 as I do not want to pay for a return shipping label." We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied.

Thank you for your feedback! According to our records, you've sent us 7 devices total to date. Each of these items were quoted to you with a low and high value range before check out. Only 1 of your devices in our history were found by our inspectors to be exactly as you indicated in the item condition questionnaire. Recently, you sent us 3 Lenovo ThinkPad T420's, and your selection of "Accept the Price" before check out indicated to us that you are accepting of the low and high value range quote, and the final payout is based on our inspectors findings. Those findings were each device was password locked, as such the item is un-testable, and we have to make the fair assumption the device is not operational. Thus, the lowered pay out of $6, $6, and $3 respectively. We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied.

Thank you for your feedback! The verbiage in our email asking for a review is as follows: "Simply, click the link below and leave a positive review. Then send us a message letting us know you left the review, including your reviewer user name, and we will add $5 to your offer!" A search for your email in our inbox brought up no communication, and as such, no credit was put towards your final payout. Additionally, you did not ask our Inspections Department or reach out to us in any form about leaving a review. Thank you for your feedback! Looking at your device, it seems you selected "Accept The Price" before check out. This selection means you accept the low to high range quote for your item, and once the inspection is complete, your payout is sent immediately. Our Inspection Department indicated your LCD Back Cover and Bottom case has scratches, and the A/C adapter you sent us was broken. These issues were not indicated when you filled out the item device questionnaire before check out, resulting in your lowered payout amount. We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied.

SellAGadget strives to make the device selling process easy and transparent. We start by giving you a low to high quote based on a questionnaire. We then give you the option to either “Accept The Price” to be paid as soon as possible, or “Contact Me” to discuss your device or have it returned. We pay to have your device shipped to our facility to be inspected thoroughly. We can be easily contacted through the members section via the order you placed. Thank you for your feedback! All devices that we purchase have a high and low value quote for payout, which is displayed before checkout, and the amount paid is based on our inspection criteria. Our records show you sent us two devices, and these were the inspection findings: Acer Aspire V5-571: Customer marked this item as functional, was found unable to boot, therefore a non-working/un-testable item. Acer Aspire V5-531: Customer marked this item as functional, was found with no OS and the Hard Drive failed the stress test. Customer marked the screen as crack, defect, and blemish free, and was found with scratches in the top right and middle. Customer marked the A/C adapter as working/not damaged, and was found with a tear in the cable. Unfortunately based on the inspection of these devices, the payout was appropriate. Our Inspection Department found your device was password locked, which affected your payout. Unfortunately, when you select "Accept The Price" the process is automated once our inspectors are done appraising your item.
