One star because you don’t have a zero. I encourage you to save your money and choose any other company operating in the USA. This company is slick and do a great job of selling, but if you want warranty service or a cancellation refund… you are routed overseas, wait forever and finally talk to someone working remote. I have no addenda but to save you money and time with a policy that is impossible to enforce. They have an office listed in Wilmington Va but I am told it is emprty and just a shell. You cannot get transferred to a supervisor or anyone else in the USA. I did get a measly refund after numerous calls and weeks of waiting. Use your own good judgment in your selection, as you will see their reviews are excellent when signing up, but ALL negative on performance. TC in Florida

This company is a joke. Half the time you can't get a hold of anybody on the phone. Then the times that you do they hang up on you. You send them information they request and they keep telling you they can't open it. In my opinion they are a big scam. Hopefully they don't give me the runaround to cancel my policy and get my money back.

Select Auto Protect is by far the worst company I have dealt with. Their customer service is horrible, they have exclusions for Technical Service Bulletins and they make you take apart your vehicle before approving service and you are left holding the bag!! Beware of this company based on actual experience!!

Terrible awful don't buy it it's a scam !!!!!!

Judging by the customer service I'm receiving, their 5-star reviews are fake. I've had an AC compressor failure, which is a covered item in my platinum level policy. They're blaming a seal, which is an internal, non-serviceable, non-replaceable component OF the AC compressor, saying that they "don't cover gaskets and seals". They won't let me talk to anyone besides customer service, that only relays messages. And now when I call, they leave me on hold and won't pick up. Buyer beware - this company seems predatory.

most reviews with 5-star related to how convenient and easy it is to sign a contract but there is almost no 5-star when it comes to honor the contract. My claim on a covered part was not paid because they claim wear and tear but they refused to even look at evidence or send an adjuster. They don't pay, don't call you back and you are unable to get the money back.

If you cancel the policy under the 30 day guarantee don't expect to get your refund anytime soon. It is now 30 days since I cancelled my policy. I have called 3 times and each time, the representative says they will put it through. I will be calling again today.
