This company is a scam. It never calls you back and when dealing with a repair company they delay approval for days then don’t send their inspector. Stay away. I have had several policies with other companies which were outstanding. I am canceling my policy after a few months and get my money back.

Buyer Beware...
I purchased a "platinum" 5-year warranty from this company for $3,500 in May, 2023. I was told multiple times during the sales process that I could cancel at anytime and receive a pro-rated refund for any unused time, based off of my initial $3,500 purchase. I called to cancel less than 9 months into the policy (I never submitted a claim and just decided I didn't need it). My prorated refund was supposed to be greater than $3,000. However, I was told by Jon Davis that I'd be receiving $1,100 off of a "market rate" price set by them. When I asked how this was calculated and to validate it, he refused to tell me, simply replying "this is what it is." I followed up 6 times in emails and phone calls, and received no further explanation. I asked where in the contract it stipulates this "market rate," (despite being assured by the salesperson Roger Miller that the proration amount would be based off of the $3,500 rate) Jon Davis could not point to the source of this secret calculation. It was as if he just wanted me to accept his diminished offer without asking questions ($2,000+ less than what I was owed and represented to me during the sales pitch by Roger Miller). I finally gave up and told them to just send me the check, I was exacerbated by the runaround. John said it was being sent out that day (I have all this in email exchanges). After calling multiple times a week and receiving no response, and after emailing many times, a full month passed. I finally got Jon to answer his cell phone. He responded "yeah, I thought that was sent out...are you sure you just don't want to keep your policy?" After telling him I had kept meticulous records of all our interactions and would be contacting an attorney, he finally agreed to send out the check. This company should not be in business. They misrepresented the refund policy, lied about the proration process, and lied throughout the cancellation process in hopes I'd "give up."

This is the worst extended warranty I…
This is the worst extended warranty I Have ever purchased. Had to submit multiple receipts even having my tires replaced to show that I maintain the vehicle had to wait 10 days for them to send an inspector out to the shop the inspector deemed a new transmission and now they want the to tear down the entire transmission and don’t want to pay for the labor cost for the tear down I’ve been without a vehicle. They have called me multiple times to get any type of movement do not purchase.

I would give a ZERO Review
I would give a ZERO Review. Same as most of the reviews on here. Claim denied although it was a covered item. Asked for Arbitration as it states in the Policy....still waiting. Asked for refund of balance of contract, roughly $600 of the $1800 I paid up front. Crickets and it has been 4 month and I have contacted five times as well. Heading to Small Claims Court in Sangamon County Illinois next to get my money I paid for Transmission ($8711). When I win, and I will, I will garnish and freeze their bank accounts. lets see if that prompts a quick response. DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

Cancelled but not Reimbursed??
I cancelled my policy 5 days after purchase. Michelle told me it was processed that same day. Credit card companies will process and post the same day the card is run through. Well its been 11 days and my credit card company still doesn't even have a pending credit. Michelle was being very dishonest in leading me to believe they processed my refund. Why do they hold onto my money for so long. 7-10 business days is the standard. I'm not impressed at all.

If I could give them zero stars
If I could give them zero stars, I would. They refused to cover a covered service, costing me thousands of dollars. They have committed consumer fraud and I have judgment for actual and punitive damages for over $100,000, but they have hidden their assets and their address is just a drop box and everything they do is online. My attorneys have been working for nearly a year to try to collect. Do NOT buy their product. I see these good reviews online and they must be either fake people, or paid reviews, because this company is a SCAM.

I purchased an Auto Extended Warranty…
I purchased an Auto Extended Warranty when I bought my 2018 Ford F150 King Ranch and paid $1800 up front. I have never had a claim on in until now. The Check Engine Light came on and I immediately took my truck to the Ford Dealer Service Department. That was 11-14-2023. Today is 12-08-2023 and Select Auto Protect has denied the replacement of my transmission stating that truck was drive after trouble started, which is definitely not the case. DO NOT EVERY SPEND A DIME WITH THESE SHYSTERS!!! I will be filing a claim with the Illinois Department of Insurance as well as suing Select Auto Protect for breach of contract and damages.

Run Run as Far as you…
Run Run as Far as you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This extended warranty company Is an absolute scam. I purchased a 5 year 177,000 mile warranty from them and paid around 3800 dollars up front.
1. I had an issue with my Range Rover a year later and signing with this company in the range of about 4000 dollars in expenses and they didn't cover the items in which they said they covered in the policy. so I paid 3000 of the 4000 dollars.
2. The same day had suspension problems again and that would have cost me an additional 3500 dollars but before I had the work done, I called select auto and they declined to fix anything. So I decided to purchased a new car instead.
3. I attempted to recover my losses by requestion a pro rated refund considering that I only used 1800 months of my 5 year warranty and they informed me that they subtract 200 dollars off the warranty every month so I was not entitled to a refund of any manner. So I received zero dollars back.
4. Last but not least I asked them I could transfer my warranty to one of my other cars and I have been waiting a month for call back even though I call them 3-5 times a week.
Be smart do not use this company they are horrible and do not care about the client!!!!
