Seido Knives are not made in Japan as…
Seido Knives are not made in Japan as their website implies. They are scammers. Return policy very difficult. Need to go to the fine print on second link re: returns. There is a restocking fee and shipping fee for returns. Plus the exact outer box (not inner gift box) is required. If they find the smallest little ding in even the outee shipping box, forget it. They claim they’ll discard the knife. Which we all know, isn’t true. They’ll resell it or minimally piece it out. Forget calling the 800 number as you won’t get a call back after leaving a message. Karma to this scammy company. But good job to their marketing and fake good reviews.

We want to clarify a few points regarding your concerns. Our return policy, including restocking fees and packaging requirements, is publicly posted on our website so all customers are aware prior to purchase: https://seidoknives.com/policies/refund-policy Regarding product origin, while Seido Knives is a Canadian-owned company, some knives are manufactured outside of Japan, which is transparently indicated on the packaging. Please rest assured that the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship standards are used for all of our knives, regardless of origin. We are committed to quality craftsmanship and do not engage in any deceptive practices. Any returned knives are carefully inspected, and our team ensures they are either restocked according to policy or handled responsibly. We take pride in our products and customer service, and we welcome all customers to reach out directly with any concerns. – The Seido Knives Team ✨
