This window starts at delivery, which is standard in e-commerce (including during holiday periods). • Limited-Lifetime Warranty – This covers manufacturing defects, but it does not cover normal wear, edge wear, cosmetic marks from use, accidental damage, or damage discovered after extended use. In cases like this, once a knife has been used, sharpened, or cleaned, it can be difficult to clearly determine whether a small edge issue occurred during manufacturing or during use — which is why the 30-day inspection window exists. We strongly recommend inspecting knives upon receipt (even if they are gifts) so any concerns can be addressed immediately and without hassle.
