Suspended wholesale account without notice, refused returns of short-dated and defective stock
I am a nutrition practitioner and was an authorized wholesale partner of Seeking Health for about a year and a half. During that time I actively promoted the brand to my clients, my professional audience, and the students of my educational programs, and placed regular wholesale orders throughout. In November 2024 Seeking Health cancelled my pending order and suspended my wholesale account without warning, citing non-compliance with a price change that had taken effect months earlier. No notice of that change was ever received at the email address on my account. I asked Seeking Health for a copy of the notice; they said it had been sent but never produced it. I corrected all prices within days regardless. No cure period was offered before suspension. Seeking Health also questioned my shipping address, even though it had accepted shipments to my business address for over a year without objection. Throughout the relationship, Seeking Health repeatedly shipped product with less than 12 months of remaining shelf life. Some products also arrived in unacceptable condition: powder formulas that had hardened into solid lumps under an intact foil seal, unusable straight out of the container (photos attached). When I requested a refund or return of the unsold short-dated and defective inventory, Seeking Health refunded a small fraction and refused the rest, citing its reporting window. It then refused to reinstate the account, naming the refund request itself as the reason. Desired resolution: refund or credit for the remaining unsold short-dated and defective inventory, or acceptance of its return.
