They sent the wrong color chair and would not let me send it back for a replacement. They tried to replace the seat but sent the wrong seat I wanted to return the chair but they said they would not accept it back and now they have said it is not going to get replaced I am just stuck with the wrong chair they are not going to do anything further to correct their mistakes.

We purchased our Herman Miller chair about 3 years ago and were very pleased. They one day the hydraulic cylinder failed. The seat went to the floor and would not come up. I contacted SeatingMind, they directed me to the warranty page which stated "The warranty covers the entire chair’s mechanics for 12 years from the date of purchase". But customer service response was "Since the chair has been in your possession for 3 years and it worked just fine the cause of the cylinder failing is NOT under our responsibility". How's that for a 12 year Mechanical warranty.

This company is a sham. I ordered a $1,000.00 Herman Miller Aeron office chair and purchased the 3 yr warranty. I received a broken, refurbished chair with rusted internal bearings, springs, broken face plates and filthy wheels that looked like they had rolled around in an office for months. I contacted the company the day it arrived for instructions on how to return, was offered replacement parts twice, which I declined and was finally sent a UPS label to return the broken refurbished chair with parts dated Jun 27 1995! After paying for the return by UPS, I received an email from the customer service dept with this statement:Dear customer Unfortunately due to recent technical difficulties we are having an issue with processing your refund on time. I have tried to issue your refund but due to a glitch the refunds are not going through. We are working on fixing this but at this time, it may be quickest for you to open a dispute to get your refund. Do not buy from this company. I have had to file a dispute with my bank to try to get a refund. Check out the BBB site about this company.

I ordered what I thought was going to be a new chair on 2/28, After a month i canceled my order and requested a refund. On 3/25 the company responded that the order was canceled and that I would receive a refund in 5-7 business days. It's now 4/16 and there is no refund. All those who have received poor treatment, I urge you to take action. File a report with the BBB and and the State Attorney General Office. I see that there website lists them as in NJ but BBB has a Brooklyn NY address for them.

The casters on the wheels of my chair began to crumble and the lift cylinder would slip at sporadic times. I asked them to replace the chair - i was just within the 30—day window... They wanted to send me parts so I could reassemble the chair as it fell apart... For a return they insisted that I have the original packaging. Ended up buying a brand new chair from the oem and will attempt to return their defective mess.

I ordered a $600 Herman Miller chair from Seatingmind 6 weeks ago, and they still have not shipped anything. After not hearing from them for the first 2 weeks after placing the order, I reached out to their customer service who promised the chair "would ship in the next 7-10 days". Now 6 weeks in and still no chair. They've also become unresponsive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR.

After waiting over 1 month for delivery for a $600 Drafting chair, I received a used one that was covered in black wax, including the wheels, which stained my carpet. The chair has scratched, dents, and dirt at various parts clearly indicating that it was used. The seats doesn't hold it's height and the foot rest also doesn't stay where you put it. I wouldn't pay $20 for this chair. It's garbage. I requested my money back from my credit card company because they totally blew me off. It's been 20 days and they still have not resolved my complaint. They are making use of false advertisement and misleading information. This company should not be in business.

If you can spend any more money at all, skip these guys and buy a better refurb. Yes, they only sell refurbs; the people complaining about that only saw the price and hit the "checkout" button without reading. You're not getting a shiny new Aeron or a Leap for 70% off MSRP without a catch, just not how the world works. You get a warranty from these folks, but all that means is they're going to throw used bits at the chair until it seems like it works. It's the "do you REALLY want to deal with us...?" type of warranty, where it's a bigger hassle to get an issue sorted vs. just fixing it yourself or forgetting about it. All that said, these folks have no business calling themselves refurbishers. Refurbishment implies taking a used product and bringing it back to good quality. I got a used product in heavily used quality. My chair was used, period. All the parts on it are used, period. The parts of the chair were thrown into a 3x3 box with two sheets of bubble wrap. Grime and dirt everywhere. Arm rests missing screws, other screws were literally falling out of the chair upon assembly, and a bad gas lift cylinder out of the box. I got a response from customer service after several cold emails (no one there feels like they want to work there or speak to you) for a replacement gas lift cylinder, but guess what: the replacement is also used. $30-40 for a new cylinder is apparently too much of an investment in customer satisfaction so I went from a gas lift that doesn't lift or drop to a gas lift that has no downward resistance and wobbles like crazy. I don't see myself engaging with their CS team just to have more used parts thrown at my chair if something breaks. It's not a customer's responsibility to make their product work. It should work out of the box. Again, not refurbished, USED. TL, DR: If they had just said "USED" instead of "refurbished" this would've been a five-star experience. You get what you pay for. I paid ~30% MSRP for a chair and I got ~30% of a good chair. I definitely feel disappointed and don't see myself giving this company another dollar. This company is clearly trying to repair its public image by engaging with negative reviews and such, since reviews on most sites seem abysmal. So why not make that effort from the "sales" end of the business, instead of damage control when you get bad reviews? Sell BETTER products with more transparency and the reviews will get better. It's not hard!
