I ordered a chair online in April, the initial order was based on the price for a good quality "refurbished" office chair. After I had placed the order I saw many posted negative reviews. It took almost a month before my chair was shipped, which made me nervous. When I finally did receive the chair it arrived in a damaged box with dirty rollers and my extra wheels simply loose. After some cleanup and Preventative Maint the chair IS worth the buy. SO... I am hoping that this new order experience will run smoother and eventually provide a quality (albeit refurbished) chair.

Ordered product on May 26th, only communication was on June 17th saying that my product should have shipped. It also stated that if the product had not shipped in 7 days (June 24th) i should contact them. I reached out to their support email then and have gotten 0 response. Unfortunately, the product still has not shipped and I have yet to receive any update. They generate a tracking number at purchase, which is nice, but it also has shown 0 activity. I would appreciate a rapid response from customer support so I can either cancel my order and move to a different vendor or get an actual concrete shipment date. I understand COVID obviously has changed things but the lack of communication and follow through is extremely disappointing. will update this review with overall experience. Edit: They reached out, there was going to be an even longer delay which had not been communicated with me. I ended up cancelling the order. The fact that I had to post on here to get a response is simply unacceptable. I am not upset at the delay, a delay in a time like this is expected but I expect clear communication about an order when delays and hiccups happen. This was not the case.

Updated to 3 Stars as I received my chair and it is looks brand new. While it took forever to get my chair, I am still happy with my purchase. Better communication on ETAs would have been appreciated. Over a month since I ordered and still no ETA on when my chair will ship. I got an update that my chair will ship "soon". They charged my credit card over 1 month ago and still this product hasn't shipped. Most reputable companies charge on shipment, not over 1 month beforehand. I will give them 1 more week actually ship this product but once we are at 6+ weeks after ordering, which is beyond the 4 weeks they informed me they needed due to "Covid" I will be contacting my credit card company and getting a refund.

I ordered a desk chair on May 22, 2020, hoping to get it as a birthday present by May 31. It is now June 23, and there's no sign of it. I just checked my credit card bill, and the cost, $490, was charged to my Mastercard on ... wait for it ... May22. But then, they are having to deal with this pandemic like everyone else. So I'll give them another few weeks.

I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron B Semi chair on April 21, 2020. My chair arrived on June 13, about 7 weeks after I placed my order. The chair I received was not the chair I ordered. It had arms (not a big deal), but I had paid an extra $49 for Soft Rollerblade Casters and it instead had the standard casters. On top of that, it the casters had some wear and a few long strands of hair tangled inside. In addition, there was a good deal of dust around the feet of the chair. Maybe I received a floor model or slightly used. Not sure. I emailed a few times to inquire about the status of my chair. I always received a prompt response (24 hours) and the customer service representative was both polite and apologetic for the delay. On the plus side, they have excellent prices. -- Follow-up: received my Soft Rollerblade Casters in the mail and they were easy to install. Updating my rating to 3 stars because I think they are trying to do the right thing.

I placed order on May 16 and received chair on June 11. This was a little slower than what I expected but not unacceptable. Chair arrived easy to assemble. So far so good. Chair seems real nice

Radio silence after having ordered a $444 Herman Miller over a month and a half ago! Tried emailing and calling and no answer. The site said it would take 10-14 days to process so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I waited the time and then a couple more weeks and it was always stuck in "processing". At this point all I want is a refund. Judging from other reviews on the site, I'm not the only one having this problem. Update: I did receive a refund and my order was cancelled. It seems they were honestly overwhelmed given the COVID situation. Still not great communication, but at least not done in bad faith.

*06/02/2020 update to initial 1 star review: After posting and reaching out via email to cancel, I was contacted and an apology was offered. In addition, the company ensured that my chair was shipped out immediately. I'm pleasantly surprised and happy with the response so far. I will come back and update my review once I receive it. I can accept and understand the circumstances for the delay, I'm just glad to have finally received some communication about it. I'm cautiously optimistic but I will be fair in my updated review should the chair arrive with no further problems. 05/31/20 Like others, I ordered and paid in full April 24th. I sent an inquiry and received an apology within 24 hours but that they were swamped with orders due to covid-19 and were delayed by 1 week to the normal processing time of 14 business days. It has been 3 weeks since that response and there has been zero communication. Status still says "label created" but has not left the warehouse or shipped. Completely unacceptable regardless of Covid. I have requested to cancel for a full refund and will update my review once I hear back. I suspect this was a scam.
